I love coaching Linebackers. Movement, reads, block destruction, tackling… Always something to work on.

I see 5 on 4 (minus the read on DE). Pistol makes it a little more tricky (which is an easy change to sidecar) but even if you don’t want to move the RB up, Tackle Trap to the front side is doable. Or bring the RB up to sidecar and go QB power pulling the tackle with the back kicking out, which means you could get a combo GT v T to B on the down block.

@Coach_DPain Well, it’s definitely not a cakewalk, but very possible. Backside A gap is 100% plugged due to leverage, so the play HAS to go front side, where all gaps & blocks are 1 on 1 with no possibility of a combo block. Not only that, but the handoff is coming from pistol, so needs time.

You’re clamped unless the Mike runs the pole too deep & the dig is open underneath. Against a 4 man rush & a tight window throw that takes about 3 seconds to develop, your chances are low.
