Britain’s first Black feature film ‘Pressure’ released in 1975 has been restored & is now back on the big screen 🎥 🇬🇧 The story of how 3 generations of a London family relate to their Black identity in Britain in the 1970s & was directed by Horace Ové. ♻️ thescooptimes_

@StevePenk I have no idea how many fans of Arsenal went to Wembley. AFTV interview the same half a dozen and it is assumed entire fanbase has same opinions.

Bottling 20 trophies since getting your players in is insane. Spending the same as clubs that win trophies every season on average...... 1 PL is not really enough to convince me he's worth sticking with going forward. His style doesn't work

@LehmannsTerms_ Arsenal did not previously spend money to such an extent and fell behind. In order to have any chance let alone win a trophy it is the current landscape. Furthermore the best players will leave if it is perceived the club has no ambition to match theirs hence squad after…….

@TheCityRamble There is a world beyond the online version. I did not encounter Arsenal fans seriously believing a quadruple was possible. Some dreamed of such an outcome because that is what humans do. Congrats. City were the better team. Celebrating does not require permission.

@SunilSharmaUK I will continue to form my own opinion and not just look for what is popular. If you agree with John Terry that is your choice.

John Terry is my favourite ever player. I was lucky enough to meet him as a kid. He is 100% right in that London stations should use ONLY the English language. My parents came in the 60s/70s to live in Britain. To assimilate and fully integrate into British culture. Make sure their children have loyalty to Britain first. Nowadays people are coming to not live in Britain but to make Britain the same as where they came from. Nowhere else in the world is that acceptable. In a world of Gary Nevilles, be a John Terry.

There will be occasions a player is poor or the team is overall. If you are someone who is able to regularly attend then this is not an attempt or instruction to behave according to my specifications.

Fans need to stop taking criticism of “their” club personally. I support Arsenal. They lose some games and win some games. There have been occasions a trophy is secured. There will be occasions a performance does not lead to successful outcome or result.

@afc_N7k Every club has racist fans. Some are more loud and visible than others. I am not a regular attendee of games at The Emirates so cannot comment but wonder how someone is treated if behaving in such a manner.

@ChetuniAFC I am not sure if Arsenal will dominate like City, Liverpool or Utd. It is incredibly difficult to assemble a squad, win major trophies and retain titles as those clubs have hence the few occasions this has occurred.

Some people asked what happened to Arteta's ball of 2022/23. Nothing happened! He blew teams away that season but ended up falling short. To make things worse, he finished second 3 times in a row. Man has decided to become pragmatic and win the League. Some Arsenal fans hate him now, but you all will love him after he wins the PL this season. Mikel Arteta is not out to please anyone this season because his eyes are firmly set on winning the Premier League title. All he wants is that one PL title first, and he's gonna take the handbrake off and bring back Arteta's ball of 2022/23, but you will never see it in every match. This man will dominate the League for years when he wins his first league title in May. I say this because Mikel Arteta is the only manager alive who has mastered Jurgen Klopp's high press, Pep Guardiola's possession football, Jose Mourinho's low block, and Antonio Conte's mid-block. He'll approach matches differently based on the opponent he's facing. He is the complete manager. The only thing missing is that big big trophy, and he'll get his hands on it in May. 🤲🏾

@Prema_Chinweze I became a fan of Arsenal during the 70s. No one should feel the need to justify why they support a particular club as it bears no relation to buying a car or house, choosing a school for your child(ren) or a relationship which leads to marriage.

People say Manchester City fans are glory hunters, they joined the club cause they are doing well, they will leave after Pep does and so on. But most of you became fans of other clubs when they were also doing well. Ask many Man U fans when they joined the club, it was during Ferguson era, Chelsea too, Barca, Madrid, most of their fanbase grew when they were growing and these are the memories they tell you of that made them join the team. Why is it now different with Man City?? Man City has created and given these fans memories that’ll last a lifetime, they’ve made them love the game, they’ve allowed them built a community and something they can look forward to yet somehow it’s “plastic”??

Arsenal fans you have to stop being so emotional every time we lose a game or drop points. We can't win every game. No team ever has in history. You have to learn to support the team and the manager and wait for the end of the season to judge the achievements....See more

@OBG_AFC So this never occurred before foreign players arrived?

All for it if the player doing it understands they run the risk of getting a good old-fashioned kicking the next time they do it. Said it all along though - the worst thing that the Premier League did was allow so many foreign players to influence the style of football being played. Now, we have influences from all over the world and most (not all) foreign players just cheat and dive and roll around. I'm not saying Arsenal players don't do it because we've got plenty in our own ranks and I've called them out plenty of times. So yeah, I'm against it 100%.
Terry Flewers@terryflewers

Just for future reference, when it comes to diving, play acting, shithousery, cheating, etc., are we for or against it?

@thecityshack Every fan supports how they choose to. It is funny that several thousand for all clubs do not engage on social media, get interviewed for podcasts or feel the need to berate others constantly. Congrats to City. They played better and scored the goals to win trophy. Celebrate.

@38Games0Defeats It serves no purpose to label Arteta better than Guardiola. City may prove to be cheats but that is the club board and ownership.

Personally I now want to forget yesterday’s game. My last word is Arteta IS better than Pep but every time he comes up against him he has brain fart moments & loses his edge, at the etihad it’s his last chance to prove how good he is vs the bald drug and financial cheat

@StreetwisestuV2 Supporting a football club is an excuse for some individuals to attack a rival fan. The online world and some pundits pour petrol on the flames and pretend simply bantering.

I’ve been all over the world watching United. This lad supports a different team than me but doing I (and many others have done) is his passion. He is not everyone’s cup of tea, neither am I, that’s how the world turns, but this is both sickening and cowardly. I hope he’s ok 🤝🤝
