Even ONE case of that successfully working is not okay. Try comparing those 100 cases to how many gay men have been killed by hate crimes. You can't because they go under reported.

The fact that defense has only been used like 100 times and has only been successful 33% of the time shows that there is no wide spread epidemic of gay people being killed for being gay. Also, perhaps there is more to the cases in those 33% then we know

Just because 33% of about 100 people is a low number that does not make it acceptable. Especially considering it is still legal to use that defense in 30 states.
