I won't share it, but a video is circulating of Russian troops executing an injured Ukrainian soldier. May he rest in everlasting peace. A hero that died for his people and his homeland. I fought both Russia and ISIS for years. There's not much difference between them. Russia is a terrorist state, good for little more than inflicting misery and war crimes. Only the most revolting creatures of no moral or human decency can ever support Russia.

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

Journalists of the RFE/RL's Schemes investigative project have obtained access to the private correspondence of Russian major general Roman Demurchiev. Currently serving as deputy commander of the 20th Combined Arms Army, he assists in overseeing subordinate troops located, among other areas, in the Lyman direction in Ukraine. ◾️ In his messages, Demurchiev complains about the condition of the Russian army, speaks negatively about Moscow's leadership and security services, and expresses a desire to leave both the military and the war. He also uses harsh language when referring to certain commanders, including Mikhail Teplinsky and Oleg Popov. ◾️ A separate portion of the chats concerns the torture, abuse, and killing of Ukrainian prisoners of war - war crimes he discusses as if they were routine. Among the materials is footage from a Russian thermal-imaging drone, recorded in December 2024 near Makiivka, showing the killing of Ukrainian servicemen who had surrendered. In his exchanges with fellow officers and his wife, the general repeatedly mentioned the severed ears of Ukrainian POWs. As proof of his claims, Demurchiev shared graphic photographs. In one such exchange with his wife, he sent a photo of several ears and said he would "string them into a garland and give them as a gift."

We are blocking the €90 billion EU loan for Ukraine until oil transit to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline resumes. Ukraine is blackmailing Hungary by halting oil transit in coordination with Brussels and the Hungarian opposition to create supply disruptions in Hungary and push fuel prices higher before the elections. By blocking oil transit to Hungary through the Druzhba pipeline, Ukraine violates the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, breaching its commitments to the European Union. We will not give in to this blackmail.

He's totally right. There's a reason Ukraine was not in EU, nor in NATO. There's a whole checklist of pre-requisites that a country has to fulfill to apply and be considered to join. If Russia has attacked any EU or NATO member it would've been different story. They didn't, but now they're using this as distraction so we get into internal conflict and break apart.

Hungary's FM Szijjarto claims Ukraine is not defending Europe since NATO does that. Russia has not attacked any EU member state. "This is not our war" he says.
