Arlecchino was came out around the same time, isn't considered particularly iconic and still outperforms Eve. Jane came out like 6 months later and comfortably beats her. My problem with Korean-developed games is that, despite many of their characters looking handsome or beautiful. They mostly come off as generic in design. Some designs land, but a lot of them don't.

The Marathon fanbase's constant need to defend the game is one of its biggest problems. Even simple, good-faith questions get treated like attacks, and that's only going to push people away, or turn people who were interested off, more than any Steam chart doomer ever would.
