@RobertPicardo I think the reason most of us don’t buy it, is Kurtzman has had over a decade to get this right and he’s missed way way more often than he succeeded. It’s fine if you guys want to change Star Trek, you have forgotten why this franchise was successful in the first place.

@Shafer1337 @BallerToy1327 They didn’t really get to do much, and technically the borg from the episode are lost drones that got trapped in the arctic when the sphere blew up in first contact. It’s also addressed in the episode that they weren’t sure what they encountered and Cochran was know to be a drunk

Wasn’t really a fan of this episode. If humans encountered the borg during this time there should be records of it when Next Gen meets them and it would be brought up. Also the borg infect this enterprise with their tech but then the humans never reverse engineer it? Having borg tech would make them centuries ahead tech wise compared to others in the region at the time.

STAR TREK fans DID NOT turn out for the INCREDIBLE HD remasters for TNG on Blu-ray (which I spent three years o my life working on)...and there were THREE different divisions of CBS paying up to 14 million for the remasters. DS9 and VOYAGER would be considerably more expensive.
