The most under discussed and important aspect of the Acuff discourse is that Trae just got traded for a bag of chips and nobody even wants Ja. The offensive threshold you need to surpass in order to provide playoff value is ABSURDLY high for defensive 0s at the guard position.

Moussa Cisse is the next center that comes out of nowhere (like Moussa Diabate, Neemias Queta). Instead of signing him, the Mavericks decided to sign 5'10" Ryan Nembhard. Cisse would be the Lakers' best center right now. These are the type of guys good FO's sign cheap long term.
