There was a video circulating on social media showing a person allegedly consuming “zombie drugs” near Bagaluru Road, Nitte College, which was posted on X . Upon enquiry, Bagaluru Police traced and identified the individual seen in the video. The officers found that the person was under the influence of alcohol and had taken medication for arthritis. When subjected to a medical examination, no narcotic or psychotropic substances were detected in his system. The information being circulated on social media is completely false. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಿರುವ ಮಾದಕವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಕಳ್ಳ ಸಾಗಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದ 08 ಜನ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂಧಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಓರ್ವ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೂ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೆಬ್ಬಗೋಡಿ, ಯಲಹಂಕ, ಮೈಕೋ ಲೇಔಟ್, ಪರಪ್ಪನ ಅಗ್ರಹಾರ, ಬಾಗಲೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಾನಸವಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಳ್ಳ ಸಾಗಣೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಂಘಟಿತ ದಾಳಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು MDMA (12 ಕೆಜಿ 91 ಗ್ರಾಂ), ಕೊಕೇನ್ (275 ಗ್ರಾಂ), ಗಾಂಜಾ (34 ಕೆಜಿ 802ಗ್ರಾಂ) ಅನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಆಭರಣಗಳು, ವಾಹನಗಳು, ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಫೋನ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಗದು ಹಣವನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಟ್ಟು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿದ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ₹27.42 ಕೋಟಿ ಆಗಿದೆ (ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮೌಲ್ಯ ₹13.71ಕೋಟಿ). ಸದರಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಂಗ ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜಾಲವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ತಿಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಯಲ್ 112 ಗೆ ಕರೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ದೂರನ್ನು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿ.
