Comcast @comcast @Xfinity won’t sell me a broadband internet package for my new home unless I pay $25,000 to dig a 400 foot trench and lay cable to their network connection. How is this even a thing?

@davedresden @dorkmo @comcast @Xfinity You are probably right re the upload speeds, i’ve been absent from the streaming but will def test it out soon/this summer. The more satellites they put up there, the better the latency will get, so they say….

@dorkmo @DJDezza @comcast @Xfinity Starlink isn’t the best for streaming HD video and audio as it has a lot of latency and there will be “packet loss” often. Also when the satellites move out of range and another takes over there will likely be glitches. Still, I may try it out.
