@DPGBehler

Proudly one of Christ’s etceteras. Tweets are often my unfiltered thoughts about whatever’s on my mind at that moment. Donut lover. #LiveByTruth

-You can hate, strongly dislike, or think very little of me, yet I still be correct. -I can have bad motives & impure intentions, yet still be correct. -I can have moral defects & severe character flaws, yet still be correct. This is why when discussing what’s true, I’m irrelevant.

Joe Kent says that an investigation that had leads on Charlie Kirk's death was shut down. If he's telling the truth, that is a MASSIVE problem. We don't know what that investigation would have found, but why on earth would our own government shut that down? What do they know?

What? Are you really that dull that you cannot read and accept what Paul says in Eph 1:4? It says that "He chose us in Him," not that "we chose Christ and then God chose us to be in Him." And, just to make matters worse for all the Arminian-Provisionist bros out there, Paul goes on in this same verse to tell us that God chose us in Christ "before the foundation of the world." If the APs had their way with this verse, they would re-write it to say something along the lines of, "even as we chose Christ, God chose us to be in Him AFTER the foundation of the world." Talk about butchering a text in order to get it to say what we want it to say. Sheesh!

Those IN CHRIST are PREDESTINED to become Holy, like Christ (Rm 8/Eph 1) Paul NEVER says some are predestined to be IN CHRIST!

Take a quote BiBi said out of context. Amplify it. Attribute meaning that was never meant to be there. Amplify it for wall to wall coverage. Tell me how you people are not rabid leftists who do that every time Trump speaks? We will all wait.

A few things: -If you mean water baptism, clarify water baptism. -In one sense all Christians should agree baptism is necessary, given that it’s by the Spirit we are baptized into Christ (1 Cor. 12:13). You can’t be saved without being baptized by the Spirit into Christ. -What is the point of saying this if all Christians are commanded to be baptized? There’s no point. If we’re all going to do it anyway, why must you declare it’s not necessary for salvation?
GodlyAction@GodlyAction

Baptism is not required for salvation.

@DPGBehler Christians are commanded to have someone else do something to them? Think about that for a moment. Does that mean I can demand something from others upon which my salvation depends?

@Ivdown12 My kid is literally begging to take my phone now and get on my Twitter to respond to this stuff. Because she’s a funny kid who thought it was funny. Because she has a sense of humor. Not like people on Twitter.

@humanitywipe “If it takes faith to believe in something, I’m out.” Makes no sense. So do not believe anything at all in your life about anything? And how can you live your life not having faith? Are you married? Do you have faith enough to trust your doctor?

If it takes faith to believe in something , im out. No 2 accounts of jesus were the same. There is historical evidence for him but then he wouldnt be the poor carpenters son. Jesus would have been from a rather wealthy family , the robes he wore on the cross were 3 years of a soldiers wages. And he spoke directly wirh royalty and elite from day one of him showing up. Joseph wasnt a carpenter he was a craftsman and was probably one of the more wealthy people in his town politically. Jesus traveled non stop around the middle east and farther effortlessly with no mentions of struggle financially.

@MateyYanakiev I’m not saying it couldn’t be. Just a concession that even if one separates the two, we still have to concede baptism is necessary in some sense.

@DPGBehler I see no reason why 1 Cor 12:13 wouldn’t be a reference to the sacrament of baptism. That’s when the Spirit (normally) baptizes us into the body of Christ. The Corinthians clearly associated baptism—literally, water wash—with the sacrament in water (1 Cor 1:13–17, 10:2, 15:29).
