They don’t know how many people are using kratom in each state. So claiming “higher rates” of harm is meaningless without knowing exposure per user. ⚠️ “Exposure” does NOT mean kratom caused anything. Only ~61% were single-substance cases. That means nearly 40% involved other drugs—opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, etc. Yet the headline implication blames kratom. 🚫 The “ban states are safer” claim is deeply flawed. @DaBrokenBaker I agree I’m in protracted withdrawal from Effexor, no one warned me. I also recently had a hysterectomy and was barely given pain meds after a significant surgery. It’s like they want us to suffer. They’re actually giving antidepressants to people as pain meds.

I wish people have spoke out against abrupt cessation/rapid taper of Rx #opioids like they are on #SSRI. It caused real, documented physical harm: heart rhythm instability, autonomic crashes, uncontrolled pain flares, and in some cases permanent #disability. #PainCareCrisis
