Tell your MP that Canada could benefit from having its own basic income program: Ireland’s basic income for the arts scheme becomes permanent. When piloted, initiative that provided €325 a week to eligible artists recouped more than its net cost theguardian.com/world/2026/feb…

Even the British establishment are starting to critically analyse their relationship with the USA. About time the Australian establishment and government got rid of the blinkers and thought through the implications of abandoning sovereignty to the Trump/ Netanyahu regimes.

The major parties are hoping the gas export tax problem will go away. But the Australian people are getting ripped off, and they know it. EVERY WEEK without a 25% tax on gas exports, Australia loses out on $340 MILLION! #auspol

The focus on the ‘sensible centre’ has created a bad map where the road leads to nowhere, ignoring evidence when convenient and stifling democratic debate. Order a copy of Dead Centre: australiainstitute.org.au/store-dead-cen…

In a world where artificial intelligence can replicate a person’s voice or face in seconds, Denmark is stepping forward with a groundbreaking proposal: a copyright law that grants every citizen ownership of their own likeness. If passed, this law would mean no one — not even AI companies — could legally use your face, voice, or body data without consent. The move comes amid growing global concerns about deepfakes, where digital replicas of real people are used in scams, misinformation, and even political manipulation.

Our natural resources are ours. They belong to Australians. Ken Henry brilliantly tells government “tax the big resource corporations and cut the crap Australians have put up with for decades” vt.tiktok.com/ZS9MDMGNe/

Professor Alan Gamlen has called out the media’s nonsense hysteria over “Mass Migration", exposing their cherry picked migration data, & how they conveniently omit departure data in their reporting. ‘The headlines are just simply not true.’💥 #auspol

Jeering and heckling at an Anzac Day service scrapes the depths of the gutter. It is disgusting, grossly offensive, beneath contempt, an insult to the living and the dead.

Anthony Albanese has signalled that he isn't taking the huge, bipartisan, national call for a gas tax seriously. What's funny about that is he is supposed to work for you, not gas companies. He doesn't take YOU seriously.

A senior US military officer is holding private briefings in Canberra, saying Australia’s geography is “an ideal operating base for any future Indo-Pacific conflicts.” The US is working with Labor, One Nation and the Liberals to bring their next war here thenightly.com.au/politics/visit…

Don't believe the empty threats from the gas industry that they'll leave if Australia taxes its gas exports properly. Inpex are looking to invest RIGHT NOW in high-taxing Norway. They're taking the piss. #auspol

Ed Husic calls out Japan’s hypocrisy of resisting gas export taxes while pocketing $40B in energy import taxes. “They import it, collect tax revenue, & make money reselling gas they’re not using themselves.”💥 Australia’s resources, Japan’s revenue. This has to change. #auspol

No excuse for not taxing gas super profits, cutting the CGT and -ve gearing on housing and abandoning the madness of spending $368B on nuclear subs. Cutting NDIS expenditure, subsidising multinationals, rich investors and the arms industry is not my understanding of Labor values!

Time for the ALP backbench to put their electorates before subservience to the Cabinet. Failure to call out neoliberal economic policies, militarism and the plight of working the working class will see the loss of many seats at the next election. Fix CGT,-ve gearing and housing!
