@DavidAddona @MattEhalt Cadeau doesnt play at all like the 80s Pistons. He plays like the modern foul-bating flopping guard (Harden, Brunson, Etc) with a smattering of little underhanded cheap shots.

He played great last night, but man, you see all these clips today on just dirty plays by Cadeu that went uncalled. Michigan deserved a win, for sure, but damn, the refs got one back against Danny. One of the most disgraceful refereed games I've ever seen.

@alexinman Most of the calls against UConn were indeed fouls. Several fouls against Michigan were not called. UConn can foul more and still get a bad (or worse) whistle. This isn’t that hard.

This might be a good time to remind everyone that Michigan was #42 in the country in fewest fouls per game. UConn was #243. Say it with me: some teams foul more than others.

@jasonrmcintyre I don’t entirely disagree, but there have still been several bad calls. Cadeau smacked Reed right on the arm when he lost the ball out of bounds under the hoop. Ball was called for a block when the whole crew agreed it was a charge.

UConn fans crying about the fouls can't have it both ways You can't play overly aggressive defense all over the place and NOT expect them to call it I get that as a strategy - it's what i do in men's leagues - but it's pretty clear here they NEED to stop fouling

That really hasn’t been the case this year. That doesn’t mean that they can’t do some damage, but it does mean they aren’t inspiring confidence that they’ll do so.
