The day is finally here- the release day for my first solo-authored book, “Life After Roe: Equipping Christians in the Fight for Life Today.” I poured my heart into this project and, truthfully, I wish I could hand out thousands of copies for free to pastors, students, and faithful pro-life Christians across the country. Since the overturning Roe, the conversation about abortion continues to unfold in legislatures, courtrooms, churches, classrooms, and homes around the country. I wrote this book to help Christians engage thoughtfully and biblically in that conversation. By exploring the biblical, theological, historical, legal, and political dimensions of the issue, I hope readers will be equipped to advocate for life in a post-Roe America. In recent interviews, I’ve been asked why I wrote this book. My answer is threefold: -To educate Christians on what God’s Word — and the witness of church history — teaches about the most pressing moral issue of our time. -To equip pastors, lawmakers, and activists to engage the life issue with wisdom, clarity, and conviction. -To encourage readers with stories of how the pro-life movement has advanced since the overturning of Roe v. Wade. My heartfelt prayer is that this book helps Christians think more accurately and faithfully about abortion and the value of life. The overturning of Roe marked significant progress — but much work still lies ahead. May this book serve to equip the church for the important work that remains. amazon.com/Life-After-Roe…

The resurrection of Christ was a uniquely important event and not a basis for political analogies, @DavidClosson argues. "When these categories are confused, politics begins to take on a quasi-redemptive role it was never meant to bear." wng.org/opinions/paula…

From my latest with @WNGdotorg: Christians should be grateful when leaders pursue good policies. But we must also exercise theological care in how we speak about those leaders. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are not blueprints for political vindication; they are the foundation of our salvation. When we fail to make this distinction, even well-intentioned words can obscure the very truths that Easter is meant to proclaim. wng.org/opinions/paula…

Canada's Bill C-9 cracks down on freedom of religion and speech. "If you're talking about... scripture, there's kind of a presumption that you're not trying to incite hate or violence.... This legislation... would do away with that..." @DavidClosson Guest host: @JodyHiceFRCA

Thank you for your faithfulness, @BenSasse. You are a powerful testimony to the fact that our "hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness." You are in our prayers.

This is a must watch interview with @BenSasse and @DouthatNYT "In Christianity, the need for daily repentance is just a truth. I am broken. I leave undone those things which I ought to have done..." "I've continued to feel a peace about the fact that death is something that we should hate...yet it's pretty good that you pass through the veil of tears one time and then there will be no more tears, there will be no more cancer..."

We call on the Nigerian government to significantly ramp up security for Christians ahead of and during Easter. We recognize and appreciate the steps the Government of Nigeria has taken to improve security, however the targeted killing of Christians, especially on Christian holidays, is unacceptable. We urge the Nigerian leadership to engage, and to do so now.

Godspeed, astronauts. 🇺🇸 As a Central Florida native, I still get chills when I watch a shuttle or rocket launch. Praying for a safe mission!

My latest with @CBMWorg: On Tuesday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its decision in Chiles v. Salazar, a free speech case involving Kaley Chiles, a Christian therapist. Chiles challenged a Colorado law that restricted her ability to provide counseling consistent with her beliefs and her clients’ goals. Justice Neil Gorsuch, writing for the 8-1 majority, stated that Colorado’s 2019 law, which prohibited certain forms of talk therapy for minors, violated the First Amendment. The ruling has significant implications for over 20 states that have similar laws in place. cbmw.org/2026/04/01/u-s…

The Supreme Court’s decision in Chiles v. Salazar today represents a significant victory for free speech and the ability of counselors to provide ethical, client-directed care consistent with their convictions. Justice Jackson’s dissent, however, offers a clear illustration of how deeply certain ideological assumptions have taken root in some corners of the judiciary. Her opinion fully embraces the core claims advanced by LGBT activists and major medical organizations regarding sexual orientation and gender identity. Key excerpts from her dissent include: "[T]the premise of conversion therapy (in whatever form) has been widely discredited within the medical and scientific community... a robust professional consensus now acknowledges that sexual orientations and gender identities range widely. And it no longer regards nonheterosexual orientations or noncisgender identities as “nonconforming" (3). "Because people’s identities are simply “a part of the normal spectrum of human diversity,”... the medical community has determined that efforts to change a patient’s sexual orientation or gender identity will necessarily be ineffective" (4). "Not only is conversion therapy ineffective, former participants of conversion therapy report that it causes lasting psychological harm. Gay and transgender children who underwent nonaversive conversion therapy say they were taught to feel shame and self-hatred" (4). "The scientific literature confirms what anecdotal experiences suggest: Conversion therapy has harmed patients, particularly minors" (5). "[C]onversion therapy stigmatizes the patient, telling them that their gender identity or sexual orientation is something to be fixed, rather than accepted. This rejection can lead to shame and guilt, which in turn can cause long-term emotional distress" (5). "[T]he preferred treatment for minors relating to their sexual orientation and gender identity is affirming care (i.e., medical care that helps minors focus on acceptance, support, coping, and identity exploration and development)" (6).

Great writing from @AnnaKateShelt: "With one in six couples facing infertility worldwide, stories like the Boozers’ are only the first of many about reproductive tech’s impact on our children, families, and humanity more broadly. But when pastors don’t know how to counsel their members on these technologies, the primary conscience-shapers become their doctors, and the cathedral collapses into the exam room. It’s time for that to change." wng.org/opinions/survi…
