A friend used the term "the last Adam" to refer to Jesus, and they were REALLY offended. And they insisted with full force that their Quranic leader is the "last Adam". Every exalted title for Jesus - they want to own it.

Not that we don't know all that about "Jesus" in Islam. But it's subverted in a way that makes it contradictory to the Bible. Islam says that Jesus was still a man, a prophet, but not greater than their prophet. And Jesus was not crucified, but that their version of god deceived the whole world - especially those destined to hell - that Jesus was crucified. According to their scriptures, Jesus asked one of his disciples to volunteer to be crucified in his place. And elsewhere in scriptures it alludes that Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus was crucified in Jesus' place. It is full of stories/tales about Jesus & Mary, written 600 years after Jesus came to this earth, influenced by people who knew little/heretic Christianity at that time and in that region. And those stories are contradictory. Not to mention, one of the most prominent one - rejection of Jesus' divinity, death & resurrection. Even though it mentions that Jesus will come again to judge the anti-Christ, it still places Jesus below their Quranic leader. According to them, Jesus is not the "second/last Adam", and it's a blasphemy to refer to Jesus like that. But, they are happy to call their Quranic leader "last/second Adam". There is something very important about the genocide of Christians in Nigeria that many people do not know. But I will tell you. The genocide of Christians in Nigeria did not begin with conventional terrorist groups like Boko Haram or ISWAP, or the Fulani jihadists Militants, and is not limited to their attacks on Christians or the bombing of churches by Boko Haram. No, it started with normal Muslim extremists killing innocent, defenceless Christians and southerners in the streets of Northern Nigeria over religion since the 1980s. And we are not talking about ethnic clashes or farmer-herder clashes over land or resources. That is just leftist and jihadist propaganda. We are talking about Killings inspired by Extremists Religious Ideology. Let me show you a few examples: 1. The Maitatsine Uprising: Kano (Dec 1980) An Islamic preacher called Marwa and his followers started a Muslim extremist sect in Northern Nigeria and grew a large following in the north. Thousands of Christians in Sabon Gari and security operatives were killed by the Maitatsine extremist sect in violent lynching and burning of Christians in Northern Nigeria. 2. The Maitatsine Massacres in Kaduna, Maiduguri, Yola (1982–1985) The sect gained a following all over the North, and repeated attacks by the Maitatsine sect killed thousands more Christians across northern cities. 3. Kano Muslim Extremist Massacre (Oct 1982) Large-scale Muslim mobs attacked Christian areas; dozens to hundreds of Christians were killed because Christians wanted to renovate a church in a Muslim area near a mosque. 4. Bauchi Muslim Extremists "Pork Meat" Massacre (April 1991) Muslim Extremists attacked Christian communities; thousands of Christians were killed in Bauchi and nearby towns because Muslims did not want Christian butchers to sell pork meat in the market or a Muslim was sold pork meat by a Christian. 5. Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke Program Massacre: Kano (Oct 1991) Muslim Extremist mobs attacked Christians over a planned Reinhard Bonnke Christian religious program; hundreds of Christians were killed in the most horrific ways, with some estimates in the thousands. 6. Zangon Kataf Crisis: Kaduna (Feb–May 1992) Muslim Extremist mobs attacked Christian communities, leaving hundreds dead because the Christian king decided to move the main local government market from the Muslim-dominated area to a neutral area to end the monopoly. 7. October 2001, the USA conducted airstrikes against Afghanistan. In reaction, Muslim extremist mobs in Kano rioted and began slaughtering Christians. 200 to 500 Christians were killed.
