@JessicaSacher Yes! Works wonders in non- immunosuppressed patients. I only do phage in this setting if already on vaginal estrogen in women and still having rUTI.

👋 it’s time 🕰️ to register to the @ESCMID #ESGNTA exclusive onsite workshop (no live webcast) entitled "State of the Art Clinical Evidence for the Use of Phage Therapy in Clinical Practice: the Pathways for Efficacy" that will take place in Lyon the 12-13th November 2024 ➡️ escmid.org/event-detail/s…! Download the updated program here ➡️ escmid.org/fileadmin/escm…, and register here ➡️ members.escmid.org/login?ReturnTo… to come and meet in person the world experts in the field of clinical #phage therapy 🤩 ! Such a honor for me to organize this incredible event and to make Lyon the world capital of #bacteriophage therapy during 2 days! We are ready to welcome you in 2 months 🔥! Do you know that Lyon is the city of Lights ✨? The Lyon city has a huge history and was called Lugdunum. It was an important Roman city, the capital of Gaul that was part of current Western Europe. Lyon has a rich architectural heritage through the centuries. The Festival of Lights (Fête des lumières) is celebrated every year on December 8 to mark the city's victory over the last plague epidemic, which ravaged the city and ended on December 8, 1852 (we don't know if natural #phages were involved as a player in such eradication!). It was particularly important for me to set up the course in a significant location and it will take place in the hangar of the 1st film 🎬, where the first movie 🎞️ in the story of cinema was recorded 🎥 by the brothers « Lumière » (Light ✨ in English), named Auguste and Louis Lumière. You will sit in a highly comfortable cinema seat and you have to know that you will be in the venue that welcome the annual International Lumiere Film Festival each year in October (institut-lumiere.org)! We are excited to welcome our hosts with @MCOCongres in particular fantastic conditions. Here are below some 📸 to share you the current atmosphere waiting you! I love ❤️ my city ✨ I love ❤️ my country 🇫🇷! So happy and excited to welcome the faculty and attendees here! Register and participate to the #phage history, an incredible ✨ film 🎥 that is still ongoing (we don’t know the end, but I think that we have together the ability to influence it)! Thanks 🙏 to all our partners @FondationHCL Vésale Bioscience @Jafral1 BiomX Inc @ATechnophage Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. for their educational support! @OnlyLyon @villedelyon @CHUdeLyon @HCL_research @UnivLyon1 @InstitutLumiere @Inserm @CNRS @Sante_Gouv @esgnta 📸 Credits (1, 2: T. Wow! Proposal to remove research requirement for HIV+ liver and kidney donors… this will increase access to transplant and reduce waitlist time for HIV+ candidates at any center in the US and not just at research centers. Data, outcome tracking remain important.

An important day in with regard to the HOPE Act - proposed rule making is out - it is critical for the transplant community to provide feedback on the proposal in the next 30 days. Your input will be critical to informing the final rule. federalregister.gov/documents/2024…

We produced the clinical-grade product, “Entelli-02” as a front-line antimicrobial against Enterobacter infections at The Alfred Hospital. It’s safe, effective, and stable, with validated sterility and endotoxin levels, and minimal prophage contamination.
