In the last 40 years, villages in Tanjavur district have lost a lot of talent, with abandoned houses and temples in so many places. It is time to go back. We are doing our part - we have an office and we are building a campus near Kumbakonam. We are also funding Yali Aerospace, a drone startup in Tanjavur town. A lot more has to happen.
Krishnan@cvkrishnan

Driving through Papanasam, Neduntheru, Ayyampettai stretch and seeing no locals for temples like Appakudathaan, Anbil to take care of the temples, we have to realize that it was our immediate previous gen and grandfathers who made the mistake of leaving our ancestral villages. No point blaming others for what we did to ourselves, our temples and our sampradayams. Rushing to Chennai, Bangalore, Delhi Mumbai and abroad for white collar jobs abandoning our temples. It is on us.

Field Marshal Asim Munir is desperately trying to build his legacy as a successful leader- both domestically & internationally. Deteriorating security. Diplomatic cold shoulders from UAE, Saudi, Iran, Afghanistan. When reality doesn't cooperate, narrative becomes survival. 🧵

BREAKING: BENGAL S.I.R. DETAILS OUT A STRUCTURAL RESHAPING OF THE ELECTORATE IN BENGAL Read 9 TAKEAWAYS on the massive clean-up which is near completion: 1. Out of 60,06,675 complaints, 59,84,512 have been resolved over 99.6% disposal, leaving just 22,163 cases pending. The voter list is effectively locked. 2. High invalidation rate raises red flags: Of resolved cases, 27,16,393 voters (45%) have been marked invalid, versus 32,68,119 valid voters. That is an unusually high rejection ratio with clear political consequences. 3. Re-entry window remains open: All 27.1 lakh invalid voters retain the right to approach tribunals again, meaning this is not a final purge but a temporary exclusion that could still shift numbers later. 4. Murshidabad emerges as ground zero: With 4,55,137 invalid voters, Murshidabad has the highest absolute deletions also the district with the most complaints. This could significantly alter constituency-level arithmetic. 5. Border districts under intense scrutiny: Districts like Cooch Behar, North 24 Parganas, and South 24 Parganas all politically sensitive and demographically complex show large-scale deletions, pointing to targeted verification drives. 6. North & South 24 Parganas see major impact: North 24 Parganas: 3,25,666 invalid voters South 24 Parganas: 2,22,929 invalid voters These are high-density electoral zones where even small percentage swings can flip seats. 7. Purba Bardhaman crosses 2 lakh deletions: More than 2,00,000 voters marked invalid significant for a district that often plays a swing role in close contests. 8. Nadia shows highest proportional purge: In Nadia, 208,626 out of 267,940 cases (78%) have been marked invalid the highest rejection rate in percentage terms. This suggests aggressive scrutiny. 9. Cooch Behar crosses 45% invalidation rate Over 45% of adjudicated voters declared invalid one of the sharpest ratios, potentially reshaping outcomes in a politically competitive district.

I was watching The Martian the other day for God knows which time, but there is a dialogue in there that kind of explains why the USA is the greatest tech company on this planet It talks about the origin of the Jet Propulsion Lab or JPL. They are the ones who build rovers, spacecraft and other cool stuff with which NASA explores deep space The story goes that some friends in Caltech were experimenting with rocket fuel and used to cause explosions, accidents and even blew up a dorm room. But instead of penalising them, Caltech relocated them and asked them to continue. And from what they did JPL emerged Now I was thinking what would have happened had they been in India First they would have been suspended. Then their Parents would have been called and given a stern talking to. They would have been threatened with suspension, dismissal and career loss. The parents would add their three or four pearls of wisdom on their economic status, asking questions like "Is this why we sent you to college" "You have tarnished our family name" etc etc Finally they would have been asked to write an apology note assuring them they would never do it again. The kids would've lost all the drive, would have sat down, grinded for the rest of the course, gotten a job in some firm and spent the rest of their lives wondering what could have been It is this amazing US ability of not only tolerating failure but actively encouraging it sets them apart from the rest of the world Every kid who breaks stuff because of their curiosity, if encouraged, grows up to change the world In the USA, curiosity is nurtured, encouraged and if anything goes wrong, it is protected. In India, this curiosity is nipped in the bus, with one simple question. "what's the use"

So you are a fraud CM. Amid the peak of the election, you got an urge to deposit the proceeds of corruption, ₹52,000 Crores, into a foreign account. FIFTY TWO FUCK¡NG THOUSAND CRORES. Like 1/3rd of your entire state budget. So you went to Wyoming and opened a shell company. To shower your love on your family members, you kept the company's name after all family members in it. But then a jealous tapasvi detective of the opposition caught you by searching for companies' names in tax havens, which were registered after your family members' names; how difficult was it? Pathan and Rubia's mission script was more realistic than this😂😂

In 2005, an enterprising woman from Thailand came to Pune to visit the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati. Afterward, she began traveling from Thailand to Pune every month for darshan. She desired to build a Dagdusheth Ganpati temple in Thailand as well. Initially, the Trust refused her permission. But after some time, the trust, seeing the woman's unwavering devotion, granted permission to build the temple a few years later. The 700-kilogram idol of Shri Ganesha was shipped to Thailand, and a replica of the Pune temple was built. This year, the first Ganesh Utsav is being celebrated there. Ganpati Bappa Morya!

Vijay Patel's account has been banned in India for the past six months, you all already know the reasons. But what many people don’t see is what has been happening behind the scenes since then. His company has been going through a really tough phase financially. Funds are running low and salaries haven’t been coming on time. Despite this, some team members are still showing up every day, continuing their work without pay, holding on to the hope that things will eventually get better. At the same time, a couple of employees had to step away, not because they wanted to, but because they have responsibilities and families to support. Things have gotten so difficult that one of his office had to be completely shut down. That’s not an easy decision for anyone to make. Amid all this, @VijayGajeraO @vijaygajera also went through a serious medical operation recently and is currently on bed rest. It’s been physically and emotionally draining for him, on top of everything else he’s dealing with. Now think about this. When certain accounts that allegedly insulted the Indian Army or spread misinformation were banned, there was an uproar. Opposition voices were loud on social media, in news debates, even in courts with top lawyers stepping in. But in Vijay Patel’s case, how many people actually spoke up? How many came forward publicly to support him? How many even tried to help his team survive this financial crunch? These are uncomfortable questions, but they need to be asked. I honestly don’t know what decision Vijay Patel will take going forward. For now, he is standing firm, but I’ve spoken to him, and it’s clear he’s deeply disappointed and going through a difficult time. Still, I’ll do whatever I can to make sure he doesn’t step down from this space.

There are frequent debates in India about what exactly forced the British to grant us Independence in 1947. It was a combination of factors that included a war-weary Britain, and the long-running political mobilisation in India. However, the fear of guerrilla warfare by the revolutionaries, and the possibility of a revolt in the Indian armed forces (esp after INA & Naval revolt) played a major role. We do not need to debate this because Prime Minister Attlee has explicitly noted this in the Transfer of Power papers (Nov 1946). Just look up Vol 9, doc 35, page 68 (199 in the pdf): apnaorg.com/wp/books/trans…
