For all the "$99 is too expensive for a controller" people. The Steam Controller has premium controller features, like TMR sticks, 4 back buttons, two trackpads, gyro, HD haptics, extensive customization via software, etc. Compare to controllers with fewer features:

@punishedcris 30-40 dollars is abit too low unless you're talkin about discount cause the minimum I've saw is 50-60, which is a solid deal too.

If it's true, then $99 is a solid deal for a controller with >HD Rumble >TMR Sticks >Trackpad >Grip-Based Gyro If it was from Sony or Xbox, then it would've cost $200+ for sure.
