@ParkMyDomain Even after switching to higher BINs for a period of time, I still go back to $1k, maybe it is acceptable price both for investors and end users I'd assume.
English

@DomainBuyNow Congratulation! You're very good in hyphen domains i have also sold two hyphen domains like Cloud-Home .com for $2499 and now i have 10 more but could you tell me what should bin for these two domains?
Kick-Start(.)com
Easy-Booking(.)com
English

@DomainBuyNow I’d be the wrong person to comment because I don’t believe in BIN when we are dealing with an evolving market.
nft .com was a random 3-letter $27,000 domain until one morning it became worth millions.
That should tell you everything you ever need to know.
I rest my case.

MAJOR POST!! This post is extremely important. I kid you not. if you want to add ATLEAST ONE ZERO to everything you're selling, read it! If not, have a nice day.
I asked chatgpt about loss of traffic and other weaknesses if a company does not own the .com
This was PART of the 3 page reply and I did not suggest any other info:
What popped out at me is realizing we are not just selling a domain name or even a world headquarters, now we are selling DIGITAL INSURANCE:
Why This Happens: The .COM Habit
Consumers don’t remember:
•.co, .net, .ai, .xyz, .shop, or .store
They default to:
•”.com” — It’s ingrained from decades of internet behavior
Even huge brands can’t easily train consumers to adopt alternatives.
Implications for Businesses
1.Brand Confusion: You lose not just traffic but trust and authority.
2.Lost Revenue: As above, easily millions over time.
3.Customer Misdirection: They end up on a competitor’s site, or worse — a squatter’s or scam site.
4.Increased Marketing Spend: You’ll pay much more to remind people of your offbeat domain (and still lose traffic).
Bottom Line
Owning the .com version of your brand isn’t optional — it’s digital insurance.
If you don’t own it:
•You bleed traffic
•You confuse customers
•You pay more for marketing
•You risk brand erosion
If you do own it:
•You control the conversation.
•You protect your business.
•You grow with confidence.

@AtulGhorpadeCom Seems that the case somehow. I suspect Afternic persuaded buyer to get GD registrant account, and pushed the name.
English

@DomainBuyNow Let's assume we get the auth code from GoDaddy. But transfer out will happen to another registrar under 60 day lock?
English

@DomainBuyNow Nice flip 👏 turning a $12 drop into a $1k BIN is clean execution.
That 60-day lock is annoying, but it’s the “good problem” to have. 😅
Did it come through Fast Transfer or a direct Afternic lander?
English

@MexicanGreek Thanks, they told me so, but somehow it is not a push they said, only to get the code for them. I just did it.

English

@DomainBuyNow You can do an internal push it the name is already at GD, just download excel file with auth code, and paste auth code into dashboard on AN, and they will complete the transfer....
English

@KarroumContact Name is being transferred. It was listed on Afternic, Buy Now Price. Not sure if I understand your question. New owner will build website on it I assume.
