I also don't like the idea of giving Ron DeSantis the Attorney General job in order to resurrect his likely dying political career. He's termed out as Governor. He has no shot at the Senate. I guess his wife could run for governor and he can cling to power that way. But, his somehow still fervent and devout followers likely view this a lifeline to spring a 2028 campaign and I really, really don't want to have to battle the DeSimps again in 2028.
