If Tekken devs want a whole new audience, why not just release a Tekken Legacy Collection and then continue on with this aggressive direction in Tekken 8? Complaints will be reduced because the old Tekken will be playable via Steam and the new audience will be happy with Tekken 8?

@SuperAkouma T7 was never close to the best Tekken. Had flaws with all the 2d characters, had core tekken removed from the series over time, etc. removing cross ups, dumbing down grabs, removing oki etc.

When I hear people tell me Tekken 7 was better

@blackheart59_ @good_melon I mean, it always has been. I don't think it's a problem especially because the wall ender is not that easy and doesn't even work on all body types. I think the bigger problem is that they removed deep low wall hits to be disadvantageous like in previous games.

Why was this new counter hit instant floor break mechanic added when we had issues with Season 2 anyway? Why add new moves when there are so many current problematic moves? Wouldn’t have made sense just to fix the season 2 issues in season 3?

There are more players for Tekken Tag 2 at this local in Sydney than for Tekken 8 (shoutouts @ReckFGC and @4LCH3M15T on Tag 2). I visited their local scene last year and it was buzzing. This is sad to see.
