@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft I’ve seen alot of discourse about seeing over the line. I saw one of these hof qbs don’t remember which but he said none of them can see over their lines because the line is usually 6’2-6’7

@DougYantis @Jared_NFLDraft Canales openly stated that he knew Bryce couldn’t see over the line which is why you see Bryce shuffle so much and roll out. In college he was a pistol or shotgun QB, many forced him to go under center, so idk.

I admire how well the #Panthers defense played today. Reminded me of 2023, though. Quality defensive performances, underwhelming offensive play. Defense can only do so much. I was very impressed with the pass rush and run defense overall.

@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft Super impressed with Cades development. When we first got him I thought he was hot garbage. Also why do we not run more RPO style plays with Bryce? Not enough guys that can hit a quick slant? Feel like. XL could benefit there

@DougYantis @Jared_NFLDraft Cade is getting paid for sure. Corbs I would assume he gets a 1 year deal or a 2 year elsewhere.

@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft I think Morgan is going to do fine. Surprised he didn’t take a LB in the draft last year at any point we’re so thin there. I’m concerned with XL for many reasons. Doesn’t feel like he’s ever going to gain the awareness. Curious if we pay Cade and Corbett

@DougYantis @Jared_NFLDraft We are in this situation due to Morgan and Tepper. We need a real GM and to draft OL (something we haven’t done since Zavala in 2023) aka 2 drafts with no OL. XL was a choice because of his location to the school and his Carolina roots. Tepper wanted someone to market..

@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft I think some of that is trust in his weapons. XL being a bust has been detrimental to this offense. Also don’t love what I see from Corbett week in and week out out. Can’t have middle pressure so often with a smaller qb

@DougYantis @Jared_NFLDraft Bryce can succeed if he stops second guessing his weapons and protection, imo. When we saw Bryce succeed in college, he has throws up and out before guys broke in their routes. They had to anticipate the ball. Now Bryce is trying to force it in late, after he sees guys open.

@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft Oh I’m not giving up on Dave at all. More so just griping that I want him to be more of a HC and less of an OC I want more ownership from him as the captain of the ship. For Bryce I noticed him getting a little stronger this year has helped tremendously

@DougYantis @Jared_NFLDraft If we are believing in Bryce after 3 seasons, I am not giving up on Dave. If Dave goes, so does Bryce. He hasn’t earned a THIRD HC.

@RollCoveragePod @Jared_NFLDraft Fair enough. I just want us to quit avoiding realties. Yesterday not showing the TB MIA score felt like a distraction on its own. We need to own these moments if we want to succeed. I don’t love Bryce’s physical traits but I think he can get the job done.

I do believe Dave is also limited due to the decision both Dan Morgan and David Tepper made to get Bryce, along with the subpar drafts up to this point. Dan so far fucked the 2024 draft 2025 draft is still developing They hired 🤷🏻

@PanthersCulture Do you think some of this is that Canales and Bryce are like fitting a square peg in a round hole? Bryce seems to thrive when we spread it out and let him call his shots but Dave wants under center run his play type stuff. Just feels a miss between the two

Today’s loss is on the offense, mainly Bryce. Defense did enough imo. Sure they weren’t lights out, but with the offense going 3 & out constantly, they predictably got tired. We essentially held them to 13 pts for 3 & half quarter, offense HAS to be better. -Noly

@josephperson would it be worth writing an article about PSL ownership? It looks like other teams do it to fund stadiums or just in their lower bowls. But they also have lower ticket prices and concessions for better teams. Feels like we’re getting screwed.
