Not that anyone asked me, but I just wanted to send some support for @MKBHD. This man has done so much for the tech community on camera and even more for it behind the scenes. The app launch most definitely was not perfect, but all we can do is learn and make changes. Everyone deserves some grace and goodwill. He deserves more than most.

@jgault13 Maybe it didn’t go as well as he wanted, but saying it did not go well doesn’t seem accurate. He ran 63:13 in a race a he never runs only 2 days after winning a 1500m final. That’s super impressive.

He still talked all that talk, kept his diagnosis hidden, and then immediately after he didn’t win he went with “of course having COVID affected me in this race”. It’s corny and lame to immediately shift your loss to “yeah it’s cause I had COVID that nobody knew about”

I do not understand the Noah Lyles hate for running with Covid from some on here. 99.99% of athletes would do the same. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to etch your name in the history books with Carl Lewis, Usain Bolt, & Jesse Owens. He was medically cleared.
