@modredcastleton You should try learning about what's going on here. The "SSR Wives" account is run by a crypto scammer who ganked the IP from the actual developer of the game. The "infringing" game he's complaining about was made by the real developer of SSR Wives.

@modredcastleton The current page owner stole the game from the artist who is now making SIN, he's a fraud with no intent of releasing anything because he doesn't even have the source files to do so. At least bother to learn the situation before saying something so asinine.

No indication that you even intend to release Protag's game, you are just a fucking leech claiming his work as your own. Everyone knows it's his game, not yours. The artifice of "copyright law" is the only reason you can pretend otherwise. There's a special place in hell for you.

The reality is that reputation is everything for indie games and publicly starting fights like this is tanking the reputation of SSRWives. Claiming that a new game by the devs is infringing your IP is just digging your grave further. Maybe you had the legal right to take control of the IP, and maybe there's something behind the scenes the public doesn't know about which makes it morally right, too. But even in the best case scenario, trying to permanently sink someone else's work is a move that reflects poorly on you and this project. Unless new information comes forward, you're probably not going to be able to salvage the reputation of this game unless you let the original devs keep working on it. You definitely won't if you keep up this public bickering, so at the very least you shouldn't make public threats. Winter Crush is a great game and it's a real shame to see this happen so I hope you can work it out
