These combo decks have evolved to the point where you can’t even let them have any body on the field or they will start combo-ing off and win on the spot, so if your deck can’t do that you’re fucked
Also “conditions can’t be negated” is such a bullcrap thing to have in a game

It’s just a lame excuse to remove a bunch of counterplays, which should have normally worked, from the new cards they want to push and sell

@HeatedAg18 @cornonthecob380 Ah sure, understanding each matchups and running tech cards for them then draw those cards is all luck no skill while accessing free resources available to you since the very start of the match to do the same combo lines again and again takes tons of skills

@EMTElaina @cornonthecob380 The least skill expressive part is getting lucky and drawing silver bullets, but elsewhere in this thread you said that Lancea was a cheap out to this card, so I guess you can’t tell the difference. Well better have it I guess. Starting to think YOU 🫵 are low skill.

If your deck after losing 3 extra deck monsters becomes unplayable then maybe it’s a good thing that this card exists to punish your deck

@bnherowatch The rank 7 has existed before Kashtira and never been on the list, ripping 1 extra deck is not the reason it was banned
You can have any opinion on my take, that’s fine, but don’t try to twist history into something in favor of your opinion

@NoobL0rd3 It was banned because it procs Shangri-ira multiple times in a turn resulting in a full board lock, not for ripping 1 extra deck

@TakeALuc_ @wolfknight019 The trap doesn’t fusion summon, so it can’t proc the ETB effect since that needs to be fusion summoned (you also didn’t use any fusion material for this trap anyways so even if it treated as fusion summoned it still wouldn’t banish anything)

@wolfknight019 @EMTElaina You can make it on your opponent's turn with the trap (ignoring summoning conditions) and with the quick-play and also recycle it if it gets banished.
It is also GENERIC and does not need aleister or invoked as material, so you can add it to other engines with fusions easily.

@EMTElaina I honestly have to give you the L on this take. The Extra Deck has evolved beyond just a generic toolbox to being where core cards of decks live. This hurts rogue decks as much or even more than your tiered ones.

But summoning it doesn’t take any skills

frankly all the replies arguing against this can't be boiled down to, "I like the extra deck and I don't like options being taken away from me" but I'm sorry having ur options being taken away from you is all of yugioh

I'm ngl I get everyone complaining about extra deck rips but a game where playing 10 combo pieces and 5 utility cards in the extra deck is unviable is a better game
