We're seeing big success with this strategy for more aggressive brands we manage email for 👀 Sending two emails on day 1 of the welcome series. Email 1 (immediate): Deliver the offer + brief brand/product USPs. Email 2 (~4 hours later): Plain text email reinforcing the benefits + slight urgency on the offer. Works like a charm. Easy extra conversions.

Look at where your brand's revenue comes from. That's where most of your email efforts should go. 80% of revenue coming from repeat customers? Put more effort into optimizing post-purchase flows, cross-sells, replenishment reminders, etc. 80% of revenue coming from new customers? Put more effort into optimizing pop-ups, welcome flow, abandonment flows, etc. Don't just copy what other brands do. Prioritize what actually drives YOUR growth.

This is why we send at least 3-4 emails per week for our clients. Hard to worry about the 0.01% of email subs complaining about "too many emails" when it's bringing in $300k+ per month.

That'll get you 80% of the way, always.
