Well, he tried at least. Iran breaks the ceasefire: closure of the Strait of Hormuz, attacks on a Saudi oil pipeline, Kuwaiti power and desalination plants, civilian areas in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain, plus of course Israel.
Yes, we've shot down most of their missiles. No, they have no qualms about hitting targets the western Enemedia was claiming yesterday would be "war crimes" (but the Enemedia isn't saying that today).
And yes, most of these attacks are on countries that ARE NOT AT WAR with Iran.
So...imagine the mullahs with the 20,000 ballistic missiles they were bragging about building over the next few years? Plus maybe some nukes?
We'll see what Trump does. But at least he tried the negotiating route. You are now seeing how "reasonable" Tehran truly is.

Throughout this ceasefire, I will continue to remain hopeful that we will witness a free Iran and free Iranians. Until this happens, I am not going to stop speaking out for their safety and also, to continue to encourage that focus remain on Iranians versus oil.
Lives trump oil.
Always.

As someone living in Iran right now: there has been no regime change.
The same evil murderers who carried out a mini-holocaust are still in power. Whoever was killed was simply replaced by others from the exact same pool. They slaughtered tens of thousands of us and washed the blood away in hours.
The president, parliament speaker, and head of judiciary were not changed or killed, even though they are just the public face of the “republic” — they all ultimately serve the Supreme Leader and the IRGC, who remain the real rulers. The Supreme Leader was replaced by his son, and the IRGC leadership is the same breed.
The atmosphere inside the country is extremely tense and deeply polarized. In daily life, you can instantly tell regime supporters from the opposition — and the opposition is the clear majority. Regime rallies are a loud, government-funded minority that do not represent the Iranian people.
This ceasefire feels very fragile. The gaps on nuclear weapons, missiles, and proxies are absolute — no real compromise is possible. One side will have to accept defeat, and Iran’s position is clearly the weaker one.
My people and I are anxiously watching every development. With the internet cut, the people rely on satellite TV, radio, and voices like mine and others who either have Starlink or rare VPN configurations.
I’m not someone who usually makes absolute statements, but this evil Islamic regime must go. No cost seems too great for freedom.
Reza Pahlavi is still the only viable candidate for a transitional leader. Its not about wanting a constitutional monarchy or a true republic. Someone must lead us there and no one else has the same influence and precedence.

Here is what the White House is failing to tell you about Iran. Every American needs to understand this.
The Islamists who run Iran are committed to a particular brand of Islamism in which they claim divine mandate from God to destroy both Israel and the United Ststes. They believe the nuclear destruction of Israel and the US will bring back the Mahdi. The Mahdi is a messianic figure, known as ‘the rightly guided one’ who is to bring the world under Islamic rule.
This isn’t some wonky foreign policy detail. This is the deeply held belief of a regime who sees themselves as commanded by Allah to bring about our destruction, and they have invested everything they have in doing just that.
This is the truth today and it will still be true tomorrow. They will wake up and work toward our destruction. We will argue about whether this is even an issue to be resolved.
This war can be won decisively by nations with an understanding of the enemy and the political will to do something about it. It can also be easily lost by western apathy and an unwillingness to see this through.
The path that should be taken is up for debate. What’s not up for debate is the righteousness of opposing this regime.

Presidents like Donald Trump are rare.
You can like him or hate him, but you cannot ignore what he represents. This is a man who confronts power head-on.
While others hesitate, calculate, and play safe, he steps in and acts.
He challenged Iran directly. He disrupted their influence, blocked their expansion, and pushed back against networks that many believe have fueled instability across different regions.
Some of you don’t fully understand what that means on a global scale. That’s fine.
Not everyone follows power dynamics or international strategy deeply.
But think about this:
When last did you hear of a direct threat successfully shaking the United States or the world under his watch?
Exactly.
Strength deters chaos. Whether you admit it or not.
Even institutions like the European Union move carefully around situations like Iran.
It’s a complex game of diplomacy, fear, and consequences. But Trump doesn’t play that game the same way. He confronts it.
Call him controversial. Call him aggressive. Call him whatever you want.
But leadership is not about being perfect.
It’s about making decisions others are too afraid to make.
He is not trying to please everyone, and that’s exactly why many people don’t understand him.
Man has brought peace to the world
I pray he completes this mission.
Pressure Iranian leaders to open up the country.
Allow free speech.
Allow equal rights.
Give women their freedom.
And watch how everything begins to change…
A more open society.
A different future for the next generation.
God bless America.
Long live Iran.
We are about to enter one of the most peaceful times in world history.
God punish haters of peace ✌️

@watashi_no_iran Any condolences for the unarmed 40,000 killed by the Islamic regime? Or the ones executed after?

Eleven Iranians were hanged last week. You heard me correct they were hanged in 21st-century for demanding freedom.
I’m grateful to @bariweiss, @jaketapper, and @marthamaccallum for giving me the platform to name them. I hope a responsible media must bring their stories and their faces to the front pages.
A ceasefire does not mean peace in Iran. The Islamic Republic’s war against its innocent civilians continues, with hundreds still on death row.
I call on international community to help save their lives.💔

There is no real ceasefire inside Iran. This is Mohseni Ejei, the head of the judiciary. He has ordered courts to accelerate execution sentences, especially for protesters. Hundreds of professors are on the death row, waiting to be hanged. Do not stop talking about Iran.

@EmmanuelMacron Always. Persecute Israel but anything IRGC and their proxies do you and others look the other way. Why don’t your country just fly them (Islamic regime) back to France? You flew them to Iran in 1979. You can fly them back.
English

I have just spoken with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
I expressed France’s full solidarity in the face of the indiscriminate strikes carried out by Israel in Lebanon today, which resulted in a very high number of civilian casualties. We condemn these strikes in the strongest possible terms.
They pose a direct threat to the sustainability of the ceasefire that has just been reached. Lebanon must be fully covered by it.
I reiterated the need to preserve Lebanon’s territorial integrity and France’s determination to support the efforts of the Lebanese authorities to uphold the country’s sovereignty and implement the Hezbollah disarmament plan.

@answercoalition Go rally in Iran. There you’ll find plenty of war criminals.
English

🚨TODAY! 60+ cities across the country will rally to say Trump is a war criminal – end to the war for good!
Find an action near you or visit stoptrumpswars.org for more information 🧵
As people around the world expressed their outrage against Trump’s spiraling war of aggression — with the Iranian people defiantly rallying on bridges and demonstrations growing inside the U.S and worldwide — the Trump administration was compelled to temporarily step back from its genocidal threats. But the war against the Iranian people needs to end permanently, not just for two weeks!
The details of the ceasefire are still emerging, but Trump is still suggesting he could go back to bombing if he wants. Unless sanctions are lifted and US forces return home, the conditions for war remain. Trump has needlessly killed thousands in his war of choice, caused economic suffering the world over, and he must be held accountable.

English

@araghchi The world also sees the massacre your regime has done and continue to do.

@ShaykhSulaiman Betrayal of Islam. Kind of like the female relatives of the Mullahs dressing and dancing like hos with lots of skin showing? Iran would execute any other woman if she behaved that way. Islam for thee but not for the whore leaders.

I predicted someone like Trump many years ago, in THE DEAD ZONE. So now I'm saying this--in the next 12-16 months, we're going to find out if the two machines for the removal of a man unable to fulfill his duties actually work. They are impeachment and the 25th amendment. He is deeply unwell .
English

Khomeini and the Iranian Revolution of 1979 is one of history’s most brutal lessons in political betrayal.
The revolution was not only carried by Islamists. It was a broad coalition. Leftists. Marxists. Intellectuals. Nationalists. All united by one thing - they wanted the Shah gone.
And Khomeini let them do the work.
He waited. He let all the other groups help overthrow the Shah. And then - once power was won - he systematically began to eliminate all his former allies.
The leftists and Marxists who had fought by his side were the first to end up in the prisons and at the execution lines.
The Tudeh Party - Iran’s Communist Party - was completely wiped out.
The Mojahedin-e Khalq - left-wing Islamists - who had fought against the Shah were declared enemies and massacred.
The bitter point:
The leftists helped build the prison they ended up in themselves.
This is exactly the same pattern we see in the West today - where leftists defend an ideology that would kill them for their values.
History repeats itself.
And those who refuse to learn it…are already building their own prison.
