Republicans control all 3 branches of government. Democrats introduced 7 bills to fund TSA. Each one was blocked by Republicans.

You can’t detain a 5 year old child. If a masked man grabs a kid off the street and puts him in an unmarked car… that’s kidnapping. If that child is then sent to another state? That’s trafficking. Language matters here. What happened to Liam Ramos should outrage us all.

Thirty years ago, after Waco, the NRA began marketing guns to Americans as a way to protect themselves from armed “jack-booted thugs” in the government. And then Republicans joined in, loosening state and federal guns laws and passing Stand Your Ground, which in some states allows citizens to use deadly force against law enforcement officers. So where are we on that timeline?
