@MonicaVanzant @itsKatouche Yes they absolutely should have put walkways down and made it accessible. This would be a reasonable adjustment under S20 of that EqA2010. They didn't because, I suspect, it would have cost them money...

@itsKatouche What could they have done differently? If they'd put that disabled section closer would they then have had to build a road/walkway connecting it to the parking area? I think specific suggestions would help them do better.

Access at @WirelessFest is terrible. No signposts for disabled people. We are being kept waiting outside the venue and the show has started

But as hard as this is on your sense of duty to your students, you should take heart from the fact your strike isn't simply about a just settlement for your pay and pension, as critical as that is. This is also a defence of your profession.
