@EcciusMaximus No, it doesn't. Mary was not said to be sinless. She was righteous before the law. Not the same thing.
If man could have been sinless, Adam and Eve wouldn't have fell and Jesus need not have come. You don't even have a grip on why the Gospel matters.
English

@EcciusMaximus Perhaps you mean created sinless. Adam and Eve obviously sinned.

@3AngelsWatchman What part of "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" do you not understand?
WHATEVER. That is the authority that Jesus gave to his Church. An authority that your church does NOT have.

Do sunday Christians never question their false pastor?
The Acts 13:42 Blessing and Conflict at Antioch
So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.
The Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

@3AngelsWatchman I feel like I should get a rabies booster shot whenever I see one of your posts.

Catholics are literally drunk off the wine of babylon
They use ALCOHOL for the satanic eucharist
They are drunk off the false doctrines of the catholic church as well
SUNDAY CHRISTIANS THAT CAME FROM HER ARE TOO, (not all drink alcohol though) but ALL have false doctrines from the catholic church
The catholic church claims sunday is above GOD'S HOLY SATURDAY

@JohanniChristi @MrCasey62 No altar? Did somebody cut Hebrews 13 out of your partial bible? More proof of my claim that anti-Catholic ankle biters actually don't even know their own faith and their own bible.
English

@MrCasey62 yeah yeah, we just don't undestand the specifics about your idolatry. You are constantly saying "did God really say...".
Yes, He really did say this is the once and for all sacrifice. No altar, no "re-presentation", we proclaim at the table what has been done 2000 years ago.
English

@MrCasey62 Fun fact that he made up in his head because it's not a fact.
One can only assume that they misunderstand their own Protestantism as much as they misunderstand Catholicism. I think that is a fair approach - rabid anti-Catholics also know nothing about their own faith.
English

@CatholicDrip___ Question for all Protestants: Is obedience to God necessary for salvation? Never mind whether it is a result of being saved or not, is it necessary? Can there be salvation without obedience.
And no corner cases of deathbed conversions, etc.
English

@renewingprotest Nice. Do you have other books of fiction on Amazon as well?
English

@needGod_net What if your grass-cutter called upon you to obey literally hundreds of times. Why would he do that if obedience comes automatically with trust? Does the grass-cutter tell us hundreds of times to be sure and eat to stay alive?
English

Trusting in someone is distinct from obeying that person. Yes, we should obey Jesus, but our obedience to Him is not the same thing as our trust in Him.
For example, if someone makes you a promise, you can trust that person before you ever obey them. That illustrates the distinction.
If someone promises to cut your grass, you can trust that they will do it without obeying them first. Let’s not conflate those two things.
Obeying Jesus is simply a result of having eternal life, not the way to attain it.
The Catholic Steel Man@Cath_SteelMan
Does that mean listening to him when he says to eat his flesh and drink his blood?
English

@needGod_net "...simply a result of having eternal life..."
Then why does the bible emphasize obedience constantly? That's like the bible constantly telling us to make sure our heart beats and our lungs take in air. Those are not volitional acts. Obedience is volitional, and act of will.
English

@MrCasey62 Seeing an empty cross, giving honor to the wicked tool used to crucify Jesus, really bothers me.
English

@MrCasey62 It's as if they never read how Paul encouraged prayer for others, and requested prayers for himself. "Bible believing" indeed...
English

@renewingprotest Notice how they have to appeal to OT scriptures, before Jesus opened up heaven. This is a common theme - argue for their man-made traditions using the OT when it benefits them, and argue the OT rules no longer apply when THAT benefits them.
English

@RobertWeidner11 @MrCasey62 That is absolutely correct. The scriptural evidence for the Trinity is quite vague, despite what they might need to claim. The scriptural evidence for the Eucharist is as strong as any doctrine found in Christianity.
English

@MrCasey62 The Real Presence of Christ in The Eucharist is more clear in Scriptures than even The Holy Trinity.
If one denies it, then 1. You’re not a Christian. And 2. I think there is something seriously wrong with their salvation.
English

@MrCasey62 They compete with each other to see who can sound the stupidest.
