I hate to sound like a broken record but in all seriousness.. what value does Patrick Bailey bring to the @SFGiants? 5 for 12 on ABS challenges, 1 for 12 on steal attempts with one error. 6 singles on the year in 44 AB’s with 1 RBI and 0 XBH, .158 BA with an WRC+ under 10… etc..

@Chet_Yoder @HarryBerezin @bengodfrey He's the Giants ace. Is he a Skenes or a Skubal? No he's not but he's dependable and you can always rely on him for 6-7 innings but he's not the I need a win right now stopper kind of ace...then again there are very few of those around.

@ButcherBoy415 Absolutely agreed! Those 3 gotta get their heads out of their asses. We're supposed to expect more out of them than anyone else in the lineup rn @EricD1971. To really top it off, Bader and Ramos have been ugly in the OF defensively at times as well esp Ramos. Can't afford that.

I know everyone is focused on Bailey & trust me I want susac to get more starts too, but SFG need Ramos Bader & Lee to get going here. The outfield offense is more concerning for me than whoever the catcher is’s offense

The only guy who is going to be ready soon is Eldridge and he's not a sure thing. It'll be good in a few years but not anytime soon.

@Chet_Yoder @Yayarea853 I don't agree with Larry a lot but the one thing you can't say about him is that he isn't passionate about Bay Area sports and he's very critical of the teams when they are bad and rightfully so. Now he does come off as a "know it all" which bugs me lol.

@BaseballJeff1 It does take time indeed. The catcher position is a tough one too. There has to be a convo on having Susac DH or take reps at another position w/ how hot his bat is though @EricD1971.

I know many folks want Daniel Susac to get more playing time, but teams are generally not very responsive to lineup changes. If you are hoping that he will be playing 4-5 times a week after 2 games, you're probably going to be disappointed. It could happen, but it takes time.

@HarryBerezin @Coach_Yac @SFman199 Agreed! This bullpen is in shambles. I told @EricD1971 that Whizzy's overall numbers aren't great, but I feel he could excel in a one inning relief role. His changeup is filthy and velocity is up. It's gonna have to be worth a shot soon.

@knbrmurph None of us criticized the Devers trade when Buster made it. But the product on the field ever since he made it speaks for itself. He went all in and it went bust. He’s responsible for this.
