Poilievre is being realistic Steve. He, like most Canadians, know that this project if it even gets built will be a giant money pit.
As for your claims about "Canadians" caring, this project is Ontario and Quebec only. The only thing the rest of Canada care about is that the government is wasting their money on a virtue signalling white elephant.
