I finished 4th overall at my local parkrun this morning, 1st female. There were 15 males between me and the next female. The numbers don't lie, allowing biological males into the female category isn't fair and it certainly isn't fun.

@adamkovac @mattyglesias Vision Zero works in Europe because they actually enforce traffic laws and require more difficult tests for licensing. In America, politicians just declare “vision zero” without actually taking the steps needed for it to be successful.

Urbanists are loathe to admit it, but Vision Zero has been a flop.
All the public education campaigns and road diets can't compete with phone-distracted drivers.
As @mattyglesias says, the rational response would be to embrace autonomous cars. But urbanists aren't.
