אני מתנצל אבל ליעד טועה פה. הסיפור הוא לא האם אנשים יפתחו לעצמם Monday, זה סיפור פחות מעניין. השווי של עסק נגזר ממכפלה של שני פרמטרים בלבד: כמה ערך הוא יוצר לעולם X כמה מזה הוא יכול לשמור לעצמו. שומר במגרש רכבים כנראה יוצר המון ערך לבעל העסק בזה שהוא מגן מפני גניבות. הסיבה שהמשכורת שלו כל כך נמוכה היא כמות האנשים שיכולים להחליף אותו מיידית אם הוא מחליט להעלות את המחיר. הוא לא יכול לשמור את הערך הזה לעצמו. Monday כנראה תמשיך ליצור הרבה ערך לעסקים כמו של ליעד, זו לא השאלה. השאלה היא כמה מהערך הזה היא תוכל להמשיך לשמור לעצמה בעוד חמש שנים מהיום והתשובה היא כנראה לא יותר מאשר שומר בחניון. בארגון גדול חיות היום כ200+ אפליקציות סאאס. הסיבה למצב המטורלל הזה שהגענו אליו היא שעד היום לכתוב תוכנה טובה היה חסם אמיתי גם לחברות ענק. לכן התפתחה אסטרטגיה של "Best of Breed״, כל אפליקציה יודעת לעשות משהו אחד ממש ממש טוב. אם ServiceNow רוצה להתחרות בMonday היא יכולה לנסות לייצר תוכנה לניהול משימות (והיא אכן עשתה את זה) אבל אף איש מכירות שמכבד את עצמו לא יהיה מוכן להתפשר על מוצר בינוני ולכן הארגון יקנה Snow בשביל הIT וMonday בשביל המכירות. אבל מה אם לכתוב את Monday זה כבר לא חסם? לא בערך, לא ליד, להעתיק בדיוק את Monday, וזה דורש שני מפתחים ו200 אלף דולר בטוקנים? פתאום כל אחת מ200 החברות *שכבר מוכרות* לארגון יכולות להציע את גם Monday בעלות אפס. זה לא אומר שכולן יציעו, אבל עצם זה שהן *יכולות* וחלקן גם כנראה יעשו זאת לא מאפשר Monday לשמור 80% Margin כמו שהיא עושה היום. כמה היא תוכל לשמור? קשה להגיד, אבל אין סיבה שהMargin של Monday יהיה יותר גבוה משל פלאפל הקוסם. אבל זה לא הכל. עסקי תוכנה הם High margin, High Growth. אפשר לקנות תוכנה בכמה קליקים וכרטיס אשראי ולכן חברות כמו Monday יכולות לצמוח 70% בשנה. אבל מה קורה כשאתה רוצה למכור לארגון חדש שאין לו Monday, אבל יש לו ServiceNow שעכשיו יכולה להציע לו גם Monday בלי מאמץ? עכשיו למכור תוכנה לארגון הזה נהיה כמעט בלתי אפשרי. ולכן עסק כמו Monday הוא כבר לא עסק שיכול לקבל מכפיל 20 על ההכנסות, אלא מכפיל 3 על הרווחים וזה לפני שדיברנו על איך נראה העולם עוד 5 שנים, אולי בכלל לא צריך Monday? במהפכות טכנולוגיות קשה להמר על מנצחים, אבל אפשר למכור בחסר את המפסידים, וזה מה שהשוק עושה כרגע לMonday.

@Avishai_ab Avishai, we have a big gap in preventing sudden death. In a low risk individual like in your tragic post, there is no data supporting CCTA and it would typically not make sense. There are lots of opportunities for innovation but CCTA for all is less likely to be the solution.

Important correction ⚠️ The test I meant is "Coronary CT Angio (CCTA)", not "Cardiac CT Calcium Scan". So if you’re following my previous advice, CCTA is the correct test to ask about. When I tried to get help from ChatGPT to remember the name of the test, I forgot one key rule: never fully trust unsupervised AI. Huge thanks to Dr. Chen Gurevitz for catching my mistake. She also strongly recommends a simple blood test for Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]. So if you’re checking your heart health, it might make sense to ask your doctor about both: CCTA + Lp(a).

@EhudGershon @Avishai_ab If you do have risk factors, it’s important to treat them (treat hypertension for example). In this case, a calcium scan can help with deciding if you would benefit from a statin. Also LPa test. But - in any event it is not meant to detect or prevent an imminent heart attack.

@EhudGershon @Avishai_ab If you’re in your 40s and you are fit with no health issues (risk factors), you are at a low risk for a heart attack. In this setting, calcium score is not helpful. It’s not a matter of cost, it’s a matter of test sensitivity (doesn’t detect soft plaque) and specificity (noise).

Please do a Cardiac CT Calcium Scan. Yesterday, I lost a friend, a colleague, Arik Perez who inspired me, an engineer and a poet, a genius with a constant warm smile. I already miss him and I can't imagine coming to Wix without him here. Arik was one of the fittest people I knew — all muscle, zero fat, could run a marathon on a minute’s notice. And still, a heart attack took him from us. Fitness alone doesn’t reveal what’s happening inside your arteries. If you’re over 40 - please get your heart checked. Do a Cardiac CT Calcium Scan. It is a simple test, it is the most important test you will ever do, and you only need to do it once. For Arik 💔 Love you my friend

הפיצ׳ר של ה-teams הוא שדרוג חזק מאוד גם מבחינת מהירות המימוש של פרוייקטים מורכבים, וגם מבחינת היכולת של כל סוכן להמשיך סשן לאורך זמן (כי יש לו קונטקסט מלא רק לעצמו). בנוסף ה-orchestrator עושה עבודה יפה, מבקר אותם, מחזיר להם לעבודה וכו. בקיצור תהליך העבודה שלי הפך להיות - תכנון מפורט בלילה לפני השינה של פרוייקט, עד רמת הפיקסל, ואז לשחרר את הצוות לעבודה ולהתעורר לפרוייקט מוכן עם כמה באגים קטנים מקסימום.

הבת שלי באמצע תקופת בחינות התלבטה איתי אתמול מה ציון הסף בסטטיסטיקה שמתחתיו היא תיגש למועד ב. מפה לשם, נולד לו הבוקר פרוייקט סופ״ש חדש - היועץ האקדמי אז מה היועץ האקדמי יודע לעשות? א. הוא מכיר את כל הקורסים בתואר שלה בתל אביב, יודע לסדר לה אותם בסמסטרים, ומכיר את התפלגות הציונים ההיסטורית בכל קורס (תודה tau factor). ב. הוא מריץ סימולציות מונטה קרלו ואומר לה איך כל ציון שלה ישפיע על טווח הממוצע שלה בסמסטר, בשנה ובתואר. ג. היא יכולה לשאול אותו שאלות כמו ״האם כדאי לי לעשות מועד ב בפיזיולוגית עם הציון במועד א הוא X?" או שאלות כמו ״איזה קורס בחירה אחר כדאי לי לקחת במקום בינה מלאכותית?״ ד. הוא יודע להריץ תסריטי what if על פני כל התואר ולהציג לה אותם אחד מול השני. וכו וכו. במאמר מוסגר, אין על opus 4.6 עם teams ❤️. #weekendproject
