A team with Adrian Newey, Jonathan Wheatley, a Honda engine, bespoke facilities, a wind tunnel, Andy Cowell and Fernando Alonso. Yet they are still competing at the bottom.

LMAO not Jolyon Palmer saying that most teams can basically plan safety car strategies around 15 laps because that's when the Aston's pull over and stop.

What a lore, like the testing at Barcelona 2015. If this resets Alonso’s brain once again, why not. But practically, I wouldn’t wish something like this even on my enemy.

The number of times he would have rammed Hamilton had Hamilton not moved his car. All FIA could say was Hamilton could have done more to help him after years of being rammed. That wasn’t racing. That was FIA picking Max to win. Max: “let FIA make the decision”

Everyone was saying how great the battle was between the Ferraris.... I just looked at it and thought how stupid they were being. George was waiting there with his full energy to overtake them both when they used all theirs up squabbling and then disappeared up the road. It offers an exciting looking product, look any deeper than the surface however, and you just how fake it is. 🎥: Formulytics

Well, the toxicity has come. Calm down people In general, direct "plug-and-play" parts are rare because F1 components are extreme (e.g., not street-legal emissions, durability for 300+ km races only). Instead, teams transfer knowledge, processes, materials (like advanced carbon fiber, aerodynamics), and innovations (hybrid efficiency, data systems) that get adapted for road use—often in high-end or hypercars first, then trickling to mainstream models over time.

@DRSunlocked Bro, that's not the point. The tech developed by F1 engines is ultimately used in road cars in 5–10 years. It's not only about emissions but innovations as well.

The irony of F1’s ‘green engines’: All race cars combined over a season: ~150 tonnes CO₂. F1’s total footprint from flying cargo around the world: ~250,000+ tonnes. Even if fuel consumption tripled using V12s, that’s still <1% from the engines. But sure, let’s nerf the engines.
