It'll probably take a bit for me to find a new home as nothing comes close to Destiny for me but I'm looking. When I find it I wont repeat my mistakes, I'll be doing my best to be involved in the community, and keeping a record of it.

I'll definitely be on for the 9th and maybe further I feel like a consistent send off is as important as a large one. I already signed the petition going around. At the end of the day if we don't get a Destiny 3 in the future I can at least say I tried.

With the end of service of Destiny I definitely have some regrets. I should have made more of an effort to become part of the community, not enough screenshot, recording or live streams, and I wasted so much time on games that didn't deserve it.

@GDePalma04 @goalfarabee86 The systemic changes came from Deboer not Tocchet. Thats why they looked better after the break the young wingers had less responsibility in the nz which allowed them to play slightly more rush based.

@GDePalma04 @goalfarabee86 I countered several of your points but alright let's look specifically at this year. The changes after the break didn't even come from Tocchet. They came from necessity and Deboer. Tocchet didn't have much choice but to play Zegras down the middle and Michkov back on the right.

Rick Tocchet was in no way, shape or form by any objective measure qualified for the job of Flyers Head Coach other than he played in the NHL for a really long time and was really good and was friends with the guys making the decisions...

You've defaulted to attacking me instead of disapproving anything I said about him as a head coach. I want them to have success long term I just dont believe Tocchet is the guy long term.

I don't understand how people look at this and think they can do it without both Michkov and Martone. Yea Foerster Bump Barkey are good accessory pieces but those two are the foundation. The rebuild is about the crest on the front but it will be decided by the names on the back.

@jaydee4777jd @TheSodaManOG It should bother fans that Tocchet cant adjust or simply refuses to adjust until he is told or forced to change. Between the examples of it and his quotes to the media I fail to see anything but a mediocre head coach and I was optimistic going into the season about his hiring

I mean yes it is an adjustment but not Tocchets adjustment just like Barkey to center came from Jonesy or Zegras to center and Michkov to RW came because they looked out of it and you had Martone and TF coming back.

With the season concluded, im still out on Tocc. PP is still dead last No faith he can develop youth System doesnt work with players skillsets Questionable choices or lack of I know people like him, I dont think he's leading us to a cup.

@FatesPyro @TheSodaManOG I am not sure about that man to man stuff but simple, clever breakouts is what Deboer is known for...we (& the Canadian Olympic team) used them. It really took off here when 94&71 got in. Having Ws good at advancing pucks led to many rushes. Until the playoffs, then not so much.

@jaydee4777jd @TheSodaManOG Except it wasn't Tocchets system truly down the stretch when they played well. Wingers played man to man instead of zone and the started pushing more for rushes after the break when he spoke with Deboer.

@TheSodaManOG Agree w you on the PP. Getting a QB is job 1 this summer. Maybe use the Tor pick for a big name. The system got us in the playoffs. Fits every player-1. Solid defensive teams do not bounce. Worrying about developing kids is silly. We are stacked w promising youngsters..even 39

@RyderSelmi @SuitableAlias Show me the good offensive things, the post Olympic break wasn't even Tocchet's system. The only thing you can give him credit for is asking Deboer for help post break. Deboer fixed them not Tocchet. Buddy has been the definition of a mediocre head coach his whole career.

Hope we trade him so we can get rid of all of these people who clearly aren’t Flyers fans. We’re in the second round of the playoffs just coming out of a rebuild and we have Trevor Zegras and Porter Martone doing Kobe-Shaq in the o-zone. Sorry that Michkov doesn’t have the requisite effort. Watch his board play, skate paths, losing puck races, neutral zone play, and changes.
