The exact moment I knew I was doing something meaningful with my life at Polygon wasn't a valuation milestone or partnership announcement with. I think about growing up, where sending money used to take 5 kilometers of walking, a full day off work, massive fees, and weeks for the money to arrive. These people are now able to do the same thing in 3 seconds for less than a penny. That's when I realized we weren't building a blockchain company. We were building new rails for global money. The technology disappears when it works. Now millions of people move money across borders like they're sending a text message.
