As someone who had seen and handled a moderate amount of money before I discovered forex, it actually affected my trading more than I realized. I kept expecting every setup to pay me the kind of money I was used to making before, so I'd force trades, hold winners longer than my plan allowed, or end up watching good profits come all the way back to BE or SL. But everything changed the day I reminded myself that the version of me who was used to making and spending quick money had nothing to do with this journey because forex demanded a different mindset. So, I stopped chasing big numbers and started respecting my process. I accepted whatever my TP gave me while maintaining my risk percentage and allowing my lot size to be determined by my plan, not by my emotions. That simple shift in mindset, accepting small, consistent wins, brought me to where I am today. My first payout wasn't just a reward for good analysis, it was a reward for changing the way I thought. If you're struggling, then maybe the market isn't asking you to change your strategy, maybe it's asking you to change your expectations.

💯 🙌 You know, there's always this sense of peace you normally feel when you admit to something you're guilty of regardless of the outcome. That was it, I made peace with myself by reminding myself that the other version of me is no longer in the picture and that I need to accept my fate and grow gradually and that was my medication.

planned a 0.5% risk but ended up loosing 1.3% because the market order spiked down far below my entry and i had to manage the loss. leaving me would've meant risking a whole 3% average from my entry to my exit price!
