@SavageAryan007 @hrshita_kshyp The "visit a service center" message is an automated one. I tried to explain an issue to them via mail, 8 out of the 9 emails were just telling me to go to the service center, it took 1 message from their Twitter support and it took ~2 mins to solve. Pathetic support in India

If you own a Nothing/CMF product (or any other brand), please DO NOT throw away the retail box before warranty period ends.
So, @hrshita_kshyp is facing battery issues on the case of her CMF Buds Pro and decided to contact the brand via email.
Turns out, to service any replacements or validate any claims in warranty, you need the original box.
The issue is that she currently doesn't have the box with her: she didn't throw it away, but it's at a residence halfway across India, and I'm aware that CMF/Nothing is NOT the only brand which follows this policy: I believe realme has a similar policy.
But I have a few questions⁉️
❌ Why can't the purchase invoice with the serial number of the product imprinted on it be taken as the proof of purchase? Isn't that enough?
The TWS already have the serial number details printed on the casing so I don't see why this can't be taken for verification.
❌ You shouldn't throw away your tech boxes until you sell them/switch them for something new. But I know many people do it thinking the invoices will be enough to cover warranties.
Does this mean that they simply deny the warranty of people whose phones/TWS are physically perfect and invoices match but simply don't have the box?
There can be better ways to implement warranty policies. Boxes are easy to lose, many people don't even keep them.
