You can’t justify violence against someone you don’t like and then be opposed to it when it goes the other direction. The principle is clear: violence is wrong.

Not sure it matters what the shooter's political ideology is. What's more relevant/actionable is the fact that his rage was widely understood by Americans, who by the way just reelected Trump. Hard to convince voters of the stakes of preserving a system that immiserated them.

The shooter's politics are irrelevant to everyone other than elites in both parties who want to convince their respective bases to not care about our broken healthcare system because it's "the other guy's" issue.

@glnott @DylanByers No it’s not. Not if there’s high turnout. If nearly every registered voter votes, an attempt to steal someone’s vote would be caught. This almost entirely theoretical threat only exists when elections have low turnout.
