Le portrait brosse le tableau d’une femme indépendante, au franc-parler, aux opinions parfois surprenantes au regard du positionnement habituel de son mari, première fortune de France et proche de cercles libéraux ou macroniens. Il ne s’agit pas d’une rumeur, mais d’une déclaration rapportée par un grand média. À titre personnel, je trouve cela extrêmement consternant et même révoltant. Quand on est l’épouse de l’un des trois ou quatre hommes les plus riches du monde, quand on évolue dans un univers de yachts, d’hôtels particuliers, de jets privés et de propriétés à plusieurs dizaines de millions d’euros, déclarer publiquement qu’on voterait pour Jean-Luc Mélenchon, relève de la pure provocation de salon. Elle sait pertinemment qu’elle ne le fera jamais dans la réalité. Elle sait que si l’extrême gauche arrivait réellement au pouvoir avec son programme de confiscations, de hausses massives d’impôts, de nationalisations et de fuite des capitaux, elle et son mari prendraient très vraisemblablement le premier avion pour la Suisse, Dubaï ou ailleurs. Je ne l’imagine pas une seconde vivre dans un HLM, faire ses courses chez Lidl, attendre le bus sous la pluie ou confier ses enfants à l’école publique de quartier. Ses propos sont ridicules, faciles, gratuits et d’une malhonnêteté intellectuelle flagrante. C’est de la posture, rien d’autre. Une petite vulgarité de milliardaire qui veut se donner des airs de "proche des jean-foutre du peuple" le temps d’un dîner de Noël, avant de retrouver son quotidien hors-sol. Il n’y a pas d’autre mot : c’est vulgaire. Vulgaire parce que cela revient à cracher dans la soupe tout en continuant à la manger avec des couverts en or. Vulgaire parce que cela méprise à la fois les vrais électeurs de Mélenchon, qui subiraient les conséquences de ce vote, et les contribuables qui financent indirectement ce luxe. Jouer à la rebelle de gauche quand on bénéficie de tous les avantages du capitalisme qu’on feint de dénoncer, c’est du mépris déguisé en solidarité. C’est pathétique, indécent, et surtout terriblement révélateur d’une certaine élite déconnectée qui s’amuse à flirter avec les idées qui détruiraient son propre monde… tout en sachant très bien qu’elle en sera toujours protégée. Il y a des pieds au cul qui se perdent.

Elle exclut : - Les revenus du conjoint, qui selon l'INSEE constituent une part très significative des ressources réelles du ménage. - Les aides PAC, qui pour certaines exploitations représentent une part considérable du revenu final. - Les revenus du patrimoine, qui représentent en moyenne 22% du revenu disponible des ménages agricoles. - Les coûts de production variables selon les exploitations (un revenu courant agricole identique peut signifier une situation très confortable pour l'un, et la ruine pour l'autre.) - Le temps de travail réel. We don't know the full story, but I have heard some horror stories IRL about men who never married / got prenups with women and had many kids with them, and then decided later in life to dump these women for someone younger, leaving her basically destitute. Being objective, it's not a good deal for a woman to enter into this sort of arrangement. If you're both W2s, it's reasonable to protect all respective assets coming into a marriage, but it becomes a harder sell for what is built after. If the earnings differential between you is within 2-1 I'm not sure it really matters much, you risk making things too transactional. If he's well established compared to her however or has companies, and she's coming in with little and intends to be a housewife, this is a different story - he needs to make sure his assets are completely protected. But she should still have some financial vesting in the event of a divorce, assuming no infidelity on her end. Like a "salary" that only materializes in the event of things ending. This is basically like alimony except pre-agreed upon. Bottom line is you cannot expect a woman to have no career, stay at home and raise the kids, and have no financial protections or earned stake over the years. I get that things have gone too far in divorce court but the reason this stuff started to begin with is that women who trusted their husbands were ruined when he decided later on to ditch her.
