@FORTRESSMAXXING I like how Putin fixed the damage that Yeltsin's neoliberal shock therapy did to Russia's economy. But Putin has lots of flaws in foreign policy. Putin sells out Russia's allies when Russia's allies need him and Russia the most. Libya, Syria, Venezuela. Also Iran.

@DazeOfWar @RWApodcast Winning in the battlefield for now but losing strategically. All the “Ukrainian” long range strikes by drones and missiles are NATO ones, with the purpose to degrade and weaken Russia before an all out attack by NATO against Russia.

Russians With Attitude@RWApodcast·
The Iranians have always been very skeptical of acquiring Russian air defence systems. They bought a token S-300 to reverse engineer it, which they did, and are fielding a system they claim is equivalent (the Bavar 373). If they meant S-400s, that stuff is pretty complicated to deploy. It's a highly complex integrated system. An S-400 battalion consists of a command post, several radars, TELs, support vehicles, etc. You're looking at dozens of vehicles for one S-400 battalion and hundreds of highly trained operators, technicians, etc etc. The Turks have noted that it takes A FULL YEAR to achieve operational capability after delivery. It's one of the best air defence systems in the world but it's just pointless to even attempt to start fielding it in the middle of a war. What the Iranians actually need, and can use, at this moment are a very large amount of MANPADS (the Iranians made a deal with Russia a few months ago to purchase thousands of MANPADS but delivery is scheduled for 2027-2029 according to the contract. Bit too late) and somewhat less complicated AD systems like the Pantsir-S1-- the system can function autonomously without a separate acquisition radar vehicle and deployment is close to instant. You stop driving and you start shooting. But we do kind of need our Pantsirs ourselves at the moment!
Russians With Attitude@RWApodcast

The S-500 is a very new system designed to shoot down ballistic and hypersonic missiles (and allegedly satellites) and would be of very limited utility to the Iranians. It has never been used in combat, barely even deployed. People just post the most random things on here

‼️🇷🇺🇮🇷 Rosatom evacuates 198 staff members from Iran's Bushehr NPP after a 4th attack by the US/Israel on the facility. This is a dangerous game which won't only affect Iran alone, rather the entire Gulf. There was a mass western condemnation over the Zaporozhye NPP, which Ukraine shelled and blamed Russia for "shelling itself". Yet the EU remains silent over this.

Ukrainian FP-1/2 drones struck 4 new valuable Russian rear targets, including: - A 92N6E multi-function radar for an S-400 air defence system in Feodosia, Crimea. - A Tor-M2 short-range surface-to-air missile system near the village of Zachativka, Donetsk Oblast (hit twice). - A ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft autocannon near the village of Lozivs'kyi, Luhansk Oblast. - A railway fuel tank in the village of Novosimeikyne, Luhansk Oblast.

@DazeOfWar @RWApodcast I agree, they handled it well in the beginning. Although political pressure and decisions by Kremlin did create bumps on the road. But Russia lost all initiative back in 2024 when they permitted NATO long range strikes into Russia. That decision will come back to haunt them.

@Fromofsumer @RWApodcast Russia’s handling of Ukraine hasn’t been disastrous even if it’s not ideal. Iran has practiced even more cucked strategic patience than Russia. Russia preempted Ukraine’s invasion of the Donbass with the SMO. Iran’s only at war now because they were forced with a cowardly attack.

You have it totally wrong. That’s exactly why Hamas, Hizbollah, PLO, Houthis, Iraqi Hashed and the Islamic Republic of Iran will NOT exist, so the children can grow up in peace. Israel has 2 million Arabs live in Israel with full coverage of healthcare, schools, jobs and places of worship. They are all very happy living there. FACT!

Ukraine has developed and is implementing a long-term comprehensive program to blind and destroy Russian air defense systems. Ukraine uses long-range drones, cruise missiles, and its own precision-guided munitions for precision strikes against key air defense elements deep in Russia's rear. 📍Analysis of open data (more than 1,530 confirmed strikes on Russian territory). Ukraine's strikes are not chaotic, but rather logical, destroying multilayered defenses: 1. Buk (56 confirmed hits). This is the foundation of the outer defense ring (45-70 km radius). The destruction of each such system creates a gap in the radar field that is difficult to quickly close. Ukraine prefers to reduce the overall air defense coverage area rather than strike at pinpoint targets. 2. Tor (46 hits).** The main enemy of Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles. This system is specifically designed to combat such threats. Its destruction directly increases the survivability of Ukrainian strike platforms. 3. Pantsir and Tunguska/Osa (27 and 22 hits). These short-range systems protect the most important targets (for example, S-300/400 positions). They are often suppressed first, allowing for a more valuable target nearby to be attacked. Their vulnerability to drones makes them prime targets. 4⃣Strategic S-300 and S-400 (36 hits to systems, 74 to components). These are the cream of the Russian air defense system. Strikes against them are the most difficult and expensive. Ukraine demonstrates high precision, hitting not just installations but key components: command posts, fire control radars, and regimental headquarters. The destruction of one S-400 battery (costing up to $1 billion) disables an entire integrated system, which Russia cannot quickly replicate. 5⃣Radars – "blinding" the system (196 hits): This is perhaps the most strategically important part of the campaign. Strikes are being carried out against all types of radar stations. "Nebo" (58 hits). These are long-range early warning radars capable of detecting low-observable targets. Their loss reduces early warning capabilities. "Kasta"/"Garmon" (29 hits) and "Podlet" (14 hits). These are specialized stations for detecting low-flying targets (the exact trajectory of cruise missiles and drones). Each destruction of such a radar expands the safe corridor for Ukrainian attacks. ❗️Friends, this is only a small part of the material. And once again, we are publishing this data because the enemy already has it, and they are using it and relying on it. "bmpd_cast". Now it's clear why Ukrainian plywood drones so easily penetrate Russian air defenses.

MUST WATCH : DOCUMENTARY Kamikaze drones have changed the rules of warfare. Now these ‘birds’ dictate the course of combat — they control the skies, lie in ambush, and strike with deadly precision. Most people say you should hide from FPV drones, but members of the ‘Terek’ Brigade would disagree. These fighters have completed the ‘Last Line’ smoothbore firearm training course and now know how to fight by the new rules. They practice shooting down targets that simulate FPV drones at the training ground. They also learn to blast them out of the sky from the bed of a moving pickup truck. The trainees are taught by experienced instructors, including Russian practical shooting champion Anna Tolstousova. The programme’s goal is to teach soldiers how to effectively counter drones on the battlefield. As the brigade’s chaplain, Father Seraphim, put it while taking part in the training himself: ‘Today the war is not fought against humans — it is fought against robots.’ What are ‘Waiter’ drones, and why are they so dangerous? And why is the shotgun considered the ‘Last Line’ of defence against UAVs. Watch the premiere of the film by Vyacheslav Guz and Abas Ali-Zade ‘Hunting the Hunter’.

@GabeZZOZZ Because Iran is a top 5 military, despite lacking a modern airforce and navy. Their focus on asymmetric warfare has helped compensate for the lacking in other areas. Another thing is that the US military is and has always been extremely overrated and limited.
