I agree that Ryuukishi prose is mediocre and serviceable at best, but basing it on english TL is pretty stupid. Like for english readers Cross channel is unreadable dogshit and Fata Morgana is a great prose example, which would sound insane to anyone reading original text

I blocked those accounts because they are straight up demoralization garbage. You can tell just by language alone which accounts are sincerely engaging in journalism and which ones are psyopping you. Anyone who posts "Europe has fallen," "there's no fixing this," language like that is an enemy operator, even if they're not aware of it. BAP is right to point out that Musk is getting oneshotted by this because he's GenX. Boomers are immune to this crap because they're not very online. Millennials and younger are immune because they grew up immersed in it and developed discernment. GenXers are young enough to be tech-savvy but too old to comprehend online culture, which is why they're so susceptible to freaking out on what amounts to the red pill cut with laxatives. Just saw an artist getting harassed and as usual people against that do as they usually do and watch from the sidelines while saying "oh man this sucks" without doing anything else. No post telling them to ignore the morons and no post telling their followers to give support

99% of western otaku are the most worthless allies you could possibly ask for. I cant even fool myself into thinking that most even care about otaku stuff anymore because it is so obvious that most just want to sit back and watch it die without doing anything to help prevent that

We need to teach the Japanese the tried and true method of not apologizing and doubling down when people are yelling at you on here if they are going to survive the ENG/JP merger. Everyone forgets what they were mad at you for within 1.5 days if you don't show weakness.
