Had a great time this weekend at DCC. We had a record number of participants and raised a record $17M to support critical cancer research. DCC has now raised a total of $100M. Our team captain @finatic1972 is truly an inspiration. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious. The Dolphins do an amazing job keeping this event running smoothly with so many participants. I didn’t get a chance to see everybody, but I did see hundreds of new people joining the thousands of returning supporters and survivors. Seeing so many survivors out there gives hope to those still in the fight.💪 This is a wonderful event that supports a great cause. Next year will be even bigger. #OneTeamOneFight

@patinaresearch Would love to see more sidecars. Sidecars raced at the 1981 Long Beach Grand Prix. I have seen the tv coverage and pre race interviews that a friend had recorded, but I haven’t seen it anywhere else.

Please don’t ever put me in a box. I’ve been a fan of TC2000 for a long time, and I try to highlight as many countries and different kinds of motorsport as possible. If you guys think there’s something I’ve been ignoring, recommend it below.

George Barber was a visionary and an inspiration to the entire racing community, especially sidecar teams. He was always friendly with the sidecar community and gave us an opportunity to race at a world class facility. He even drove up to the paddock to hang out with us for a while after our race last year. He didn’t have to do that. Incredibly grateful for what he built and the time that he spent with us. He will be sorely missed.

We’re heartbroken to share the news of the passing of George Barber. Through his vision, the park became more than a world-class racing facility — it became a place where fans, competitors, and families could come together and create lasting memories! We are incredibly grateful for his leadership and the legacy he leaves behind.

@Retromania4ever The 1981 Long Beach Grand Prix had sidecars as a support race. The race was won by Hall of Fame driver Larry Coleman. Some would argue that it was the greatest day in the American motorsports history.

@CarterBuffkin @BoziTatarevic Do you know how they decide which races to bring them to? This kind of innovative fan outreach is great for the sport. I would imagine TRD could build and sell a few of these to every track that isn’t on the NASCAR schedule.

@FunSidecar @BoziTatarevic I don’t believe it comes to every race but it definitely comes to a majority of races usually placed at the entrance of pit road.

Reading the NASCAR Impact report and one thing that I don't think has gotten enough attention is the NASCAR Mobility Pit Box. The box was built by TRD and it has hosted 306 fans across 42 race weekends according to the report which is pretty impressive.

@vincenzolandino It was amazing. I really liked the activations from Jack Daniel’s and Hendrick’s, as well as local brand Bodega Tacqueria y Tequila. How would you describe the Miami activations compared to the ones in Austin and Vegas?

Well, preliminary results are that the cancer metastasized and I won’t be eligible for a liver transplant. We’ll know for sure next week when the final results come out. I’ll do whatever needs to be done for the cancer, but I may be on my retirement tour with the liver issues.😞
