@Sephora is coming soon to The Shops at Pickering City Centre and MastermindToys will be taking over the old Tim Horton’s unit. Food court renovations has commenced with plans for an additional 200 seats. Lastly, the official groundbreaking for PCC condos is happening this year.

Progress at 310 Kingston road in Ajax. This is currently the tallest development under construction in Ajax. This project by Ledim developments will stand 83.7 meters once complete (higher than the vision towers at Pat Bayly Square in DT Ajax).

The Harwood Plaza Redevelopment is a new mixed-used proposal in Downtown Ajax at 33 Hunt street. The plan includes three towers (16, 23 and 30 storeys in height), 863 residential units and 886.7m2 of ground floor retail space.

Jan 8, 1995: @GOtransit officially opens the 2.7 mile extension of its Lakeshore East corridor from Whitby to Oshawa. The Lakeshore East corridor had previously been extended to Whitby in 1988, from its original eastern terminal at Pickering. 1/3
