I just went to see The Lamb of God by Rob Gardner performed by the Minnesota Saints Chorale and Orchestra. Have you guys seen this? A breathtakingly beautiful musical portrayal of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, as seen through the eyes of his disciples. This music should be cherished by the entire Christian world. It is a masterpiece and there is nothing particularly “Mormon” about it. But because it was written by a Latter-day Saint, most of the Christian world misses out. My Christian friends, please go see it if you ever get the chance. There is nothing in there that is not from the biblical story. @Grownded You have to remember that they are not saying what they say to you and I. They know we're constantly skeptical. They are keeping the 40% of the country who guzzles this stuff by the gallon well fed.

I have to ask... Do journalists really not see it? Do they not see what the rest of us see every time they open their mouths and try to spin a story? Do they actually think they are getting away with something? Being noble? Or are they really so mind numbingly twisted they think they are reporting reality as it happened? I've been out front and center on the media lies about the ISIS terrorists in NYC on Saturday. That's not what happened here. Abby read a badly written tease into commercial break. Teases can be the last thing written for a show, and someone here obviously miswrote something. Abby is reading these teases after wrangling a feisty debate for 10 minutes. Mistakes happen. It's ok to show a little grace.

If you get into my house in the middle of the night, you didn't walk through an unlocked door or window. Why? Because I check them every single night without fail. Every. Single. Night. That means that you got in via breaking and entering. That means at the first sound of glass breaking or the door frame being broken through, I've armed myself. Why? Because moving from my front door to the first kid's bedroom takes less than 10 seconds. Less than 10 seconds between either the front or the back door and my kids. I don't know your intent and I don't care. YOU ARE WHERE YOU DO NOT BELONG. A home is the one place on earth that anyone should be secure. Not 'feel secure'. BE SECURE. Your being there in the middle of the night uninvited makes it insecure. If you see me with a flashlight and a firearm and you run away, then you run away and the police come to get the report. If you keep coming down that hallway then the police are still going to come, but so is EMS. One of us is getting hauled away on a stretcher. Why? Because you chose to get so drunk that you cannot think straight and discern between right and wrong, and you violated the security of my family home and put them at risk. And the onus is not on the people you have violated to keep you safe from yourself and endanger themselves trying to figure out your motive. The bear in the enclosure doesn't know you entered by mistake. Neither do I (and I do not care).

Lethal force vs. an intruder has been a fundamental principle of all humans literally since Neanderthal and Denisovan days. Your morality has been artificially ruined if you no longer understand this.

That wording was inaccurate and I didn’t catch it ahead of time. I apologize for the error.

Now figure out how it made it through editorial review. This was not a simple human error like reporting the wrong number of needles in a haystack. This was wrapping a major news story in bubble wrap to downplay the facts in favor of an ideological spin.
