@GalaxySoldier But the arc ends with him literally doing what he wanted with Gohan, Goten, and Trunks by finding someone to train as his successor. The whole "next generation" was never fully discarded.

I'm not even a huge buu saga fan but I think its wild how many people miss the point that the arc was in part about goku realizing the world still needs him

And that’s why people complain about the Boo Saga having him come back and not committing to passing to the next generation, But I think it actually makes things more interesting Pretty much every other time you see this kinda “passing torch” beat it’s always kinda the same formula with them struggling but ultimately succeeding But here the next generation actually just failed without him cause they ultimately weren’t prepared, and he was actually wrong to leave them Emphasizing that he really is NOT the absolute mythic like figure everyone was thinking he was and trying to live up to

@Tilted_FN But Super doesn't have "all of that" GT references filler & movies but Super continues off the manga that doesn't have what Toei made (except for Bardock). Example, Wrath of the Dragon isn't canon to Super, they make no attempt to even try to reference Toei material when GT does

It's so weird to me when people bring up Toei scaling as if Super doesn't have all of that and more. It all gets surpassed by the first arc DBS.

@GalaxySoldier @ToaBioMech Baby is honestly one of the best written and one of the deeper villains in DB, and Omega is far more thematic as the final boss for an ending than Kid Buu to end the franchise on.
Super 17 had like 3 episodes so I find hate on him overblown, especially compared to RoF.

@GalaxySoldier People don't like that Goten and Trunks going SSJ as kids when everyone before them had far more turmoil to get it. The U6 Saiyans repeated that issue and people like you bring up Goten and Trunks as a "gotcha" when 2 wrongs don't make a right

@marcosknust93 @ball_limit He was eventually able to use the Spirit Bomb while in Super Saiyan, by Buu in canon and Super Android 13 in anime, but from King Kai saying "he's not Goku anymore", he probably couldn't use Nimbus as a day 1 SSJ.

@dbs_10_10 I’d say the sayian saga only because we didnt get memorable transformations in that arc not saying it’s terrible but Frieze arc ss1 cell arc ss2 and buu arc ss3 and fusion.

I fucking hate the “minimum wage is for high schoolers” talking point.
A. No it isn’t, that’s historically inaccurate.
B. Telling a kid to work hard and earn money the “right” way, then turning around and saying he deserves less just because of his age is bullshit.
Pay should be based on performance. Nothing else.
If you’re against raising the minimum wage, that’s fine. Make a better argument that isn’t belittling kids trying to work hard and earn something for themselves.

@PaullLyons @Fat_Electrician @1stChurchofGoff Ford realized that it would help the company long-term, he raised wages and lowered working to 40 hrs so his own workers would be able to buy his cars. Obviously investors should get paid, but it's usually short term profit instead of overall health of the company's lifetime
