For sale $40,009 2012 Pik-Rite VB1190 vertical beater manure spreader. 550 bushel or 16.6 ton capacity. Field ready with new plastic floor. Originally this spreader came with a vinyl coated plywood floor. It has been replaced this winter with a solid 3/4” HDPE plastic floor.

@kevinki16180099 @BirnamPork Yes walker farms use milk from their own cows. It is an interesting way to add value to your product. I’m sure it has some extra headaches too. Winter came early and stayed, but we are ready for it.

@GSTE @BirnamPork Gerard didn't know if Walker Farms Dairy & farm milking the cows were the same entity . Idk Walkers were in the processing milk business, first I heard of there milk was yesterday.You are surviving the winter &snow ok?

@jwilgenburg1 @MdMcLean1 @Shawridgefarm @robertreese_4 We went a different direction this winter. Got a Metal Pless commercial snow blade for the payloader. 12’ main blade with 4’ hydraulic wings. Can make a 20’ angled blade, or a box forwards or backwards or anything in between.

Question for the Canadians and those in the northern snowy states, what's the best snowblower for a tractor? Have 2 Fendt 9XX with front 3pt/PTO and would like to get one for them for if/when we get a bad blizzard. @MdMcLean1 @Shawridgefarm @robertreese_4

@CanadianCowMan @KenSchaus We raise and finish all bull calves and crosses. Put in a beef chute with an integrated RFID reader and import all weights into DairyComp. We track heifer weights as well. We decided on the right ear as well. Doesn’t really matter, just have to decide and be consistent

@KenSchaus Side question from a dairy guy who tags calves…. What side of the calf/animal do you beef guys like the RFID tags on when working cattle? I have been doing the right ear.

2025 has brought a lot of emotions and challenges to our family and as the year closes things certainly are looking up. Nov 20, baby girl (4), Marion, was born. @pokelittlejohn and my hearts are full to the brim as our family grows. Now to wrap up farm work and enjoy.

Small electric tractors at AgriTechnica There were a few different companies coming out with them Battery technology and replacement costs are still the issues but you never know they might catch on? Should have asked if they come with a block heater….

Started mowing cereal rye today, if the weather cooperates we will chop this Wednesday. Will make a lot of great heifer feed! 150# of N and growth regulator, standing perfectly.
