Tomorrow will be the start of June, so its a new month for the Rumble Creator Program. I will NOT be celebrating the usual corporate shit of propaganda, but I will be celebrating two other events this month. Will be having a 300 follower stream sometime this month, and whenever we're done with Metroid Dread, we'll be moving to streaming Zelda games for the 40th anniversary. As for the schedule for the coming week, its below. Monday, back on @DiscussThing 's Tangent Kings in the afternoon, and also back to #LEGOBatmanGame Legacy of the Dark Knight that night. Will also be streaming it on Tuesday. Wednesday, the Rumble Revolution should be returning with @RyanRogerAthay , so I'll be on that in the afternoon, then that night will be Metroid Dread. Thursday will be obligatory Premium stream exclusively on Rumble, and Friday will be no stream but I'll be on @DashAttackVT 's Old White Road. Finally Saturday, we continue with Breath of Fire II, and hopefully get more progress on that story.

Can't believe I'm actually agreeing with this guy, but he's not wrong. Amazon is choosing to not go forward because they want someone not involved with the show to work on it and "make it for a wider audience". Franchise is dead with Amazon being in charge.

Amazon axing the new STARGATE series because it was supposedly too niche is such a frustrating executive decision. This is STARGATE. The original movie launched in 1994. STARGATE SG-1 ran for 10 seasons. STARGATE ATLANTIS ran for five more. Fans have kept this franchise alive for decades. Martin Gero, who wrote on SG-1 and ATLANTIS, was developing the new series. Brad Wright and Joe Mallozzi were consulting producers. People who understood the franchise were involved. And Amazon apparently got nervous that the show would appeal too much to STARGATE fans. That is insane. Die-hard fans are not the problem. They are the bridge. They tell friends to watch. They explain the premise. They build word of mouth before casual audiences ever show up. Studios keep wanting legacy IP without the people who actually love it. But that “baggage” is the audience. STARGATE does not need to be sanded down for everyone. It needs to be good enough that fans bring everyone else in.

@Maxximus0130 @Pirat_Nation God of War is the IP, where Kratos and other characters exist in. Making this doesn’t replace or erase him from IP or Lore, but instead enhance the universe. Ppl need to chill. And rejoice we get more SP story based AAA games.

Alanah Pearce has said she worked full-time for four years on God of War: Laufey but left in late 2024 and is no longer involved at all. “So here’s the God of War game I spent four years writing.” When asked how involved she was with the project, Pearce replied: “I worked on it full-time for four years, so thousands upon thousands of hours of involvement. I wrote characters, levels, story beats, dialogue, etc. But I left in late 2024 and the work they’re doing now is much harder. I’m currently not involved at all, and plenty of my work will have been replaced.” I guess she wrote another cook book

@GalaxyRed533 @khaliltooshort No GOW did not get a separate set of trophies for PS5, they just unlocked the FPS for the PS4 game on PS5. I’m showing alphabetically there is only ONE GOW game this man has beaten in 21 years of the franchises history on PlayStation.

I'm talking about Henry Nowak over in the UK, which is likely the reason why the original poster posted the George Floyd video by comparison. He was stabbed by the supposed "victim", and the cops didn't care, so he died after they already handcuffed him and claimed he wasn't stabbed and didn't bother to even look to see, or call medical assistance.

So unlike woke game designers I read some of the comments and I redid the design. Here’s another model I edited. Looks more like the actress, more realistic looking, more texture on her skin. I even toned down her makeup. Still looks like a beautiful character and the actress in my opinion.

Problem is, he is in the game. At least he's in the gameplay video they showed off, but only there for 30 seconds. The problem is, we don't know if they're going to have more of him in there and ruin his character even further than they have with the 2018/Ragnarok timeline, considering the writers on this.

@CancelThisPod To be honest, after hearing the dialog, I am relieved that Kratos won't be in this game. That probably would've ruined him as a character completely. You're 100% right, this game has much bigger problems than the character they decided to use 🤣

It's not (or should not be considered) mainline though; it's a spin-off. Regardless, the point is moot. If the character were more attractive that's half the battle won. However the problem persists the game itself seems to look boring and miserable. I'm just pushing back on you because, regardless of what you or I think, making her look less like fifty miles of bad road would have made for a more palatable game and people would be more likely to forgive some of its flaws.

@CancelThisPod I loved stellar blade. I'm not saying you can't have good female protagonists. I was saying that making the chick hot in a game where they replaced an iconic character won't fix it.
