@Tyrielwood I did this switch myself a few months ago - DaVinci is adding new features like crazy, so I am happy with the result. Thanks for the suggestion for a Photoshop alternative!

2024 will see; •Several first party PS5 games announced + released •Several first party PS VR2 games announced + released •Many acquisitions •Mobile games released way more often •An influx to PC ports •More films and TV shows happening at PlayStation Productions
Rythian@LumberjackRy

The PlayStation division will see an increase of 25-30% over this current year’s budget for next year. They are funding roughly 35-40 games across India, China, and Japan alongside making their push into mobile for real. There is also major acquisitions incoming.

I’ve seen his face under the mask, you couldn’t handle it Thrill, fuck them and do you lol
𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡@Thrilluwu

These are just a few of these type of comments from the past 24 hours. I would appreciate some thoughts. There has been significantly more hate in my comment section recently for me wearing a mask to remain at least a bit anonymous/ have some privacy. It is something I have always done, long before covid but people have been taking it very personally recently. So many automatically assume it's some political stance when it has never been that even going so far as to discredit every word in the video because of the misunderstanding. Some comments are quite disgusting. The weird part is that when I comment back and say "I just don't show my face, it's for privacy" the response is usually really nice. "Like- oh! Okay makes sense. Thanks!" Sometimes I have long time viewers comment and say it for me which is very nice and usually goes well, but it's gotten overwhelming recently. -It's an odd situation. I can't tell whether I should cave in or just ride it out. If I just keep doing it people will eventually put it together that I am doing it for anonymity (and always have) and not to make some weird political statement right? The comments do not bother me there's always been a few but after seeing so many recently it's made me question the whole thing. To be fair, this is me picking out the negative, the mass majority of my comments section is usually very constructive and positive but that also makes me automatically notice when there's a sharp uptick of negativity. I would have thought that it would be obvious that a guy alone in his house in VR wearing a mask is not for anything Covid related but people seem quite emotionally damaged by the Covid era and are repulsed by masks and people that wear them for any reason (americans mostly) Any thoughts/ recommendations? It's not a great feeling to have people love the video but turn hateful.

@SkarredGhost This kind of speculation is present every year. And every year Valve is only present in business side of exhibition, likely to discuss Steam related matters with game devs.

@jtkarhu Based on the mechanics there, do you thing left and right can be moved independently, or only symmetrically?

Apple Vision Pro is doing custom HRTF for spatial audio. It uses an ear scanning technique that is already built into iOS for AirPods. The scan is done from an iPhone, and then loaded onto the headset. The same scan app captures a face scan probably to determine the best fit of the modular parts. IPD is measured on the headset itself., But it was unclear to me if there was a hardware adjustment, or if it was only software.

@BattleAxeVR @htc I wonder if that varies by device, or it's just my personal perception. For me the XRE was so much worse in glare and reflections than Quest Pro. In QP it is basically neglectable. Have tried the fov measurement app that everyone use? There is a glare test area where lenses shine

@Dragonitium @htcvive @vr_sam I don't see how that's helpful for resting. Infinite amount of the points of the circle, like on Quest 2, is more stable than that. This adds imbalance.

There two things that I still haven't figured out with my new #vivexrelite. What is this plastic thingy on controllers, and how do I test a depth sensor without developing my own app. Anyone knows? @htcvive @vr_sam
